Hi India, how long have you been in the industry, what have been your most pleasurable moments so far? What has been your least pleasurable?
I've had a ton of pleasurable moments and orgasms (always a pleasurable moment) in the industry. Career wise, being signed by Girlfriends Films and doing feature works for Penthouse and Wicked have been very pleasurable. I have also enjoyed the extreme variety of genres I've participated in from softcore to "hypno" to BDSM to gonzo to feature. One of the most pleasurable things has been meeting and getting to know the other talent, directors, producers and crews.
I'd say the least pleasurable aspect is dealing with some people's stereotypes of "pornstars". Also having to deal with hate mail for doing interracial work.
How did you get into the adult industry?
I am a internet generation of industry girl. I was sexual in an exploratory way before I went into the industry. I had quite a bit of experience swinging. People at my work, friends and swingers would tell me I should model, or if they were swingers that I should be in porn. So I started getting modeling photos done and submitting them to directors, producers, agencies and modeling sites. People started writing and offering me work.
2009 has been an incredible year for your career. You recently signed with the studio Girlfriends Films as one of their first contract girls. What does that mean for your career? How does it feel to be a contract star? Why did you sign with them?

2009 has been a really great year for me! Thank you for noticing. Definitely the zenith of my career so far. I am kind of uncomfortable with the word "star" and me being used in the same sentence.. When I hear that word I tend to think of people like Nina or Stormy ...but thank you, I feel very flattered. Why did I sign with GFF? I am very bi-sexual and I really enjoyed working with the crew and people at GFF. I love Prinzzess and RayVeness and I have great chemistry with both of them. I really enjoy the girl-girl genre and it's great getting to work with all of the ladies! As far as having a contract... You can ask any performer, it's great to know where your next job and paycheck are coming from. It gives your life a sense of stability as opposed to wondering if and when you will get your next booking.
Currently, you are getting good buzz from your scene in Not Married With Children XXX and this past summer from your role in Drill Baby Drill by impersonating Sarah Palin. What does all of this recognition on your acting abilities mean for your career?
Well, again, it's very flattering. I don't know what it means for my career as of yet. I hope it means I'll get the opportunity to do a lot more acting and work, especially in comedy-parody genres. I think the thing that comes to mind when you mention those two movies is that as an actress I was given the chance to prepare for the role. I was given a script well in advance of the shoot. There were meetings with the directors prior to shooting and I had the time to "get into" and develope my character. The other thing I love about those movies is that they are in the parody-comedy genre, and I love comedy. It's not that I don't enjoy improvising or working on the fly, but I think anyone will give you a better performance when they've had the time to prepare correctly. Improvising can be very hit or miss, but having to do that in many shoots has forced me to grow as a performer. Since you mentioned those two titles specifically I would like to take this chance to thank Kelly Holland and James Avalon for giving me the opportunity to do the lead in "Drill Baby Drill".
