Taylor and Tatiana Russo aka The Russo Twins Interview

Whenever twins especially identical ones are introduced to the adult industry, there is the perception that it's a gimmicky notion. However, people need to realize that these ladies are people and more importantly, family. In this case, even though the Russo twins have their normal sisterly ups and downs in their relationship, they are contempt in their decision to be adult performers and they love each other. This entertaining and insightful interview will give the reader a greater appreciation of them. On a personal note, I am quite fond of these lovely ladies and want to see them succeed in whatever their future brings them. They are one of my most favorite people who I have ever interviewed. They took a piece of my heart.

Hi Tatiana and Taylor, you are getting a lot of buzz for your Vivid Entertainment produced movie Introducing the Russo Twins.  How did you feel as you were performing side by side with your sister? Did it feel strange, exciting, competitive, or all three of these emotions?

Taylor: Actually I enjoyed working with her a lot. I had a lot of fun, and as a newbie to being in front of the camera, it's very comforting to have someone you know so well to have with you. I'd say it was all three emotions at once. It was strange sucking a guy's cock who just fucked my twin sister. If you think about it, it's like I'm eating her out. I try to not think about it. It's a minor detail that can be overlooked.
 
Definitely exciting. It's every guy's fantasy to fuck twins and it's a total turn on knowing that men out there are jerking off watching us. I like giving the crowd what they want.
As far as competitiveness goes, I have an unfair disadvantage because she began shooting photos (non pornographic) a year before me. I used to avoid cameras at all cost so even if I fall a bit behind, I'm a quick learner..

Tatiana: I would say probably all of the above. While watching the movie, you can kind of see some awkward moments. I was totally excited that she agreed to work with me. It's such a shocking idea especially for me and Taylor, and we went for it. For myself, the reality of what we were getting ourselves into hit me when we shot our first b/g/g and g/g/g/g scenes together. That her bodily fluids were going to end up all over me even if we didn't touch each other throughout the shoot. Like Taylor said, "I try not to over think that whole idea." I have been in porn longer than Taylor...not even a year.

I shoot some fetish content for my boyfriend who owns a bondage company (Dungeoncorp). Regardless of that, I always feel like a virgin about to get deflowered before every shoot. When I shoot with my sister, it's not about trying to compete against her. If that was the case, I would have just continued shooting on my own. I like doing things for shock value. She does whatever comes to her head at the moment. Once we made the decision to work together, we might as well do the best that we can...teamwork! I mainly hope that our bipolar mood swings manage to hit the "get along" mark, because those are the moments that we forget about morals and just go with the flow. 

How did you arrive to the decision that making adult movies was the right choice for you?

Taylor: Lol, I'm a nymphomaniac... narcissistic, love fucking, money...seems to make sense to me.

Tatiana: Can't say if we made the right or the wrong choice. We are used to dramatic changes in our life.   

What did you do before you entered the adult film world?
 
Taylor: I used to be a receptionist at a Toyota dealership. A very sexually frustrated receptionist.

Tatiana: I was in the Army reserves and worked at Michaels.   

How did you and Vivid Entertainment hook up?

Taylor:  My agency at that time had me shoot for Vivid for the series Brand New Faces. We told them that I have a twin (Tatiana) and it went from there.

Are you looking forward in having more opportunities to work together in adult films? Is it essential that studios take you and your sister as a package deal or are you open in doing individual work without your twin beside you?

Taylor: It really is a ton of fun working together, and the more opportunities for that the better.  We do want to have our own separate lives though, and that includes working separately. We are like any other siblings. If we see too much of each other, we'll be at each other's throats. I don't want to be known only as the Russo Twins.

Tatiana: Yes, we are looking forward to working together in the future. I started working without my twin sister, and later opened up to shooting with her lol. We are not a package. It's a free for all

What was the biggest surprise for you about the adult industry when you started?

Taylor: What a dick-fiend I've become. 

Tatiana: What a dick-fiend my sister became.
 

Vivid's main director B. Skow has described you as "gorgeous and that your special chemistry definitely turned up the heat on the set." As far as I can tell, the viewer's body temperature will rise when they see you in action. Do you have similar tastes in men? What traits of a man do you admire most? What makes a man sexy? What traits of a woman do you admire most? What makes a woman sexy?

Taylor and Tatiana: I don't think we have similar tastes in men. We had this unsaid rule where we won't date the other one's exes...seriously. You get denied by one twin, so the other one is supposed to be a back up? Total turn off, but we do like men for their personality over looks.

Main trait...Intelligence..I drank through most of my development years. So, smart is not the strongest of my traits. Why would I want to be with another dummy?  Also confidence.. not cockiness.. there's a difference.  When a guy can control my crazy self... I'm definitely a wild child... and when a guy can control that about me...super sexy!

In women...confidence and femininity... admirable and sexy.

Who is the oldest sister and by how many minutes?

Taylor: Tati is...I think by 5 min..not sure though cuz our birth certificate is in Russian.

How was your upbringing like in St. Petersburg, Russia when you were kids? Could you tell us how life was like as kids in your homeland? How were you as a kid growing up?
 
Taylor:  Not much of an upbringing...went to school, 3 months of summer were spent at camps.. other then that, we kind of did whatever.  I could honestly write a whole book on my life story. It's an adventure that's for sure especially as a kid because you have little knowledge or care for consequences and what's going on around you. Play, ditch school, and drive grown-ups insane. After being adopted, it was life of a typical teen with a hardcore religious family.

Tatiana: What Taylor said.
 

What are your hobbies and interests?

Taylor: I don't really stick to any one particular thing. I like trying new things and that's a hobby in itself!

Tatiana: Currently adopting fall feral kittens from our neighbor...a lot of work lol.

Are there any industry people (actors, actresses, directors, etc.) who you have not had the opportunity to work with yet and want to very badly and why? What would be your dream scene?
 
 Taylor:  think the list would be super long. I wouldn't even know where to begin!  Lol. As for dream scene, my shrink would lock me away if she ever found out, but I love scenes with story lines.

Tatiana: I don't know. I don't really watch porn other than some fetish content.
 

What is your favorite thing about being an adult performer?

Taylor: Sex... Money.. no strings attached... But really, my favorite thing is getting the opportunity to work with so many awesome people and having fun doing it.

Tatiana: Sort of what Taylor said..performing, being fussed over, and meeting people. Its just a really fun job.

Nothing at the moment. I know there's something planned. I just don't know what it is.

Tatiana: We just finished shooting our third movie with Vivid. It's going to be the Russo twins' home movie with lots of POV, plus me and Taylor both get to demonstrate our skill behind the camera as we help each other shoot our personal sex videos with our honeys.
