2011 Female Performer of The Year

As we were putting together our top 10 list of adult DVDs for 2011 a clear pattern began to emerge - Allie Haze. Allie began 2011 with an "AVN Best New Starlet" nomination and she ended it as one of the major contact stars for Vivid Entertainment in between she was front and center in many of the best films of the year. At the start of the year she impressed us with her role in Sinderella & Me. Her scene with Manuel Ferrara showed that Allie could combine the innocent girl next door looks with an energy and enthusiasm of some of the more seasoned female performers. The great chemistry between Manuel (who we consider the best male performer working today) and Allie went to the next level in Raw 6 which showed off Allie's range. But it was Lost And Found (our #1 pick for movie of the year) that really won us over. How in the world could a woman be so cute, so charming and so amazingly good in the sack?! In Lost And Found Allie showed off she was the total package and that she has what it takes to be one of the best both in her scene work and in her non-sex work (she even had an entirely non-sex role in The Interns 2)

Through out the year Allie Haze continued to impress us with Bush, Lesbian Office Seductions 5 and Girlfriends 3. Then came The Adventures In Babysitting and we knew that 2011 was going to be Allie's year. Allie is so consistently good and brings such a positive energy to her scenes you can't help but want to see what she does next. Vivid took notice and brought Allie on as one of their very very few contract starlets. Her first release with them Allie Haze: True Sex showed that it was a perfect match and that Allie had arrived as one of the major adult performers.

The only setback that Allie had in 2011 was that her major role, Princes Leia in Star Wars XXX got delayed and it left an open spot in her otherwise amazing year. Many may overlook Allie Haze because of this and perhaps give gals like Asa Akira, Kayen Kross, Lily LaBeu or Bobbi Starr a nod in this space, all had are deserving. But for us Allie Haze breathed life in a tough year for porn, she was exactly what the industry needed, exactly when it needed it.
