It's always nice to see adult performers branch out from only being adult performers. It shows people that many porn stars have much drive and the will to succeed. They are not the air heads that many people assume they are. They feel they have worth. In just three years, Tanya Tate has grown from being a performer to both directing films and running one of the best public relations companies in the biz. Her highly sensual and authentic lovemaking demeanor is so appropriate for directing those personal and touching girl on girl scenes. Now, with Tanya taking charge of Star Factory PR, she will treat her star roster with the same kind of care and dedication. As in Tanya Tate's case, nice girls do have good things happen to them.

Hi Tanya, you are definitely becoming a mogul my dear. Congratulations on heading the highly respected and successful Star Factory PR. How has the experience been being the boss and keeping everything running smoothly?

Thank you. It has been a little overwhelming. Star Factory PR has made a name for itself over the last seven years, so to take the reins and continue with the exemplary work they started has been a daunting task. But, I have a great team with me now, all the contacts Star Factory PR have established over the last several years, directions and notes of all their techniques; so I am very confident that we'll continue to produce the same quality work that Star Factory PR has been known for. As soon as the dust has settled, we'll then take it even further.

I want to congratulate you on your impressive directing work. Your highly recommended film Tanya Tate's The Milf Masseuse has received very good marks. How did it feel being the person in charge? What was your vision for this movie?

Being on set and directing was a lot of fun. I knew what I wanted out of the performers and myself so I had a clear vision of that. It was a little harder for me to learn all the other tasks that come with directing. The scheduling, booking the right talent, the location; all that stuff came into play and as a performer it's not something that I really had to worry about. But I loved it and am looking forward to doing it again.

The film Tanya Tate's Casting Couch also received good marks. Could you describe the concept to this series? How was the experience directing the guys?

This was one of the first things I thought about when I got into the adult business. What's funny is if you Google it, you can find a press release about it from like 2009, when I first mentioned that it was what I wanted to do. It took me a while to get it going because I was just building my career at that point, but now I'm having fun with it.

I enjoy sex. The Tanya Tate casting couch offered me the opportunity to have casual but safe sex with these guys and see if they had what it took to be porn stars. It was a win-win. I would be able to film new, fresh material as well as potentially find new male stars.  

I also think it's sexy. Because these are not the typical big dicked performers that you see in every video. These are regular guys, which plays into the fantasy that it could be you who is on the couch having sex with me.

Could you tell us what it is about directing that is so refreshing from only performing on screen?

I get to book the people I want to have sex with. I can also do the dirty scenarios that I have in my head. I can be creative with my perversions.

One of your clients Katie K will be in a mainstream movie. Could you tell us about it and what makes her so special?

Katie K is awesome. This is a girl that has been in the business for a few years and while she was always beautiful, Katie didn't receive as much attention as she deserved. Then she started with Star Factory PR and they helped blow her up big-time. She is also very proactive, which I love. She knows her career is in her hands and provides us with the tools necessary to help promote it.

This movie that she is in is one based on the magazine mogul Paul Raymond. Which, in England is a huge thing. Katie is amazing and people love her so she is always getting called upon to take part projects like this. The last time that she was in the United States, she was booked solid. Like I said, people love her.

Another client of yours is sexy Adrianna Luna. What qualities does she have that has made her one of the most sought after performers?

She's hot, she's fresh, and she's exotic. This is another girl people just can't seem to get enough of. When I first took over Star Factory PR, I was inundated with interview requests for her. People want to talk to her. People want to know her. Her scenes are brilliant, sexy, and energetic. She is not your typical new porn girl. I would not be surprised if she wins best new starlet awards.

The hot trio of Star Factory PR, Adrianna, Katie, and you, will be judging an erotic short story contest called Get Off Three Pornstar. Since I love to write erotic short stories, could you tell us about it?

Yes, people can write in their short stories and people will have a chance to win several prizes from us.

I am so amazed at the remarkable reception that you receive at the SHAFTA Awards. What does all of that recognition from your homeland mean to you?

It means a lot to me! I really thought I wouldn't win anything this year, because in 2011, I was predominantly in America. Though, I did do some high-profile projects over there. I really thought they may have forgotten about me. But, when Tanya Tate’s Sex Tour Of Scotland won Best Reality Series and again I won MILF of the Year for the third time in a row was nothing short of shocking. I am very grateful for all the love the fans of England have showed me for the last three years and the SHAFTA Awards.

You are well-known around the community as a being a huge super-hero fan. Could you tell me how it feels attending these types of conventions and interacting with your fans?

I love it. I love talking to people who are into the same things that I am into. When I was back in England, I didn't have the opportunities that I have here living in Los Angeles. There is always something going on. Always an event, a screening, a gathering or convention that I can go to. And it's fun.

You had just attended EXXXOTICA Miami Beach to promote your awesome career as well as your newly released Fleshlight novelty toy. Could you tell us about that stimulating item and meeting your very loyal fans?

The fans are awesome. They are always great to me and I love meeting them at shows like Exxxotica. As for the Fleshlight, this was the first time that I actually was able to sell them directly to the fans and it was quite the experience. I was actually surprised by how many I sold. People kept buying them. I thought it was great, and hope they have fun with them.

How did you get into the adult industry?

I was working in an office and had become bored of the typical 9-to-5 day. I was at the end of my twenties and thought to myself “this is not what I want for the rest of my life.” At that same time, I had seen an adult movie with a friend of mine and had become very interested.

What has been your most pleasurable moments? What has been your least pleasurable ones?

The least pleasurable had to be when I tried ATM for the first time in a Rocco Siffredi movie, I quickly discovered this was not something I enjoyed. Pleasure has a lot to do with the chemistry between me and the other performer. I have shot so many amazing scenes with highly pleasurable moments that it’s too hard to pick just one.

Are you a pet lover? Do you own any pets?

I do love dogs, but at the moment, I don’t have the time to have pets.

You are so amazing as a sensual and erotic performer with your female partners. You really take your time. What is it about a woman that is so desirable?

I love a beautiful woman. I love to explore every part of her body. The sex you see in my movies is real. My scene with Jelena Jensen in Tanya Tate's MILF Masseuse was one that I had been wanting to do for a year. We just never got booked together. So, when I knew I was directing my first movie, she was the first person I wanted in it. The heat in that scene had been building up for a year, and it's probably one of my best girl/girl scenes to date.

Are there any projects or websites that you would like to promote?
 
Well, I'm always moving forward with new projects. I am excited for my new movie that I have directed to be released, “Tanya Tate’s Runaways”. This will be coming out from the studio, Filly Films, with a release date of late August 2012. I play “Mummy” looking after and taking in vulnerable homeless young girls. The main project, of course is TanyaTate.com. Then it's Star Factory PR, for publicity and I'm always working on my mainstream stuff on just the www.JustaLottaTanya.com.
