Cristi Ann's Bacon Wrapped BBQ Shrimp
- 6-8 pieces of uncooked large King Shrimp
- 1 pack of fresh Basil Leaves .
- 1 pack of Bacon
- BBQ Sauce
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges for garnish
- Salt / Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder

Step 1: Wash each shrimp properly and remove the shell.
Step 2: Remove the black vein and run the shrimp under cool water .
Step 3: Carefully slice each shrimp open butterfly style.
Step 4: Season each shrimp lightly and lightly coat with oil .
Step 5: Place basil leaf in the center of the opened shrimp and close.
Step 6: Wrap each with Bacon tightly.
Step 7: Pour vegetable oil in frying pan and wait for it to heat up .
Step 8: When oil is ready for frying . Gently place each shrimp in to fry
Step 9: Fry each side for 1-2 minutes till it’s crispy.
Step 10: Remove each shrimp and dip it in your favorite BBQ sauce.
Step 11: Immediatly plate and serve . Garnish with lemon wedges if you desire.
