I like porn with plots... and I'm talking a crapload of it. Some of the best porn I've ever seen are the ones where the entire thing is just a regular (but rather bad) movie that centers around a reasonable story and straight up performances by the actors and actresses. There may be an occasional lesbian kiss shared or maybe one bj (though that is pushing it)... At the end however, we are treated to one long scene of a sexfest. Or it could be a series of sex scenes that help to tie together loose ends of the plot. Very little porn, but quite a bit of substance. If anyone is interested, Asia Carrera's "Forever Young" is a pretty decent one to begin with.

i've edited some gonzo porn for a known company and while the sex is always great, it always felt lacking. i understand the 'amatuer' aspect of it, but it's basically staged anyways. so i brought in lighting and different ways to introduce credits (because that's about all i could do). i guess i've seen too many andrew blake films.. the stylized, artsy porn with a fogged lens and soft filters, lavish sets and costumes. guess it's the 'filmmaker' in me that's trying to justify the work.
