In other words, do you cum gallons when you're incredibly aroused vs a little when you're not? Or is it always the same amount for you?

Yes. In fact, if you approach orgasm, then stop, then approach again, then stop, and repeat several times, you can really build up the volume of ejaculate.

I'm not entirely sold on clemente's and criptik's point of view. Sure, the more aroused you are blah blah blah. But if you ejaculate then try to do so again in 30 minutes, I don't care how aroused you are, it's not going to be the same amount. It'll be less.

I guess what I'm getting at is that the amount depends on two things: arousal and when the last time occured.

Well, yeah, I was just talking about orgasm during sex. If you wait a month, you're going to ejaculate a lot more than if you jus waited 2 hours.

With this theory you should get 2 equal amounts and then less???

The testicles release the semen into the vas, which (when muscles there contract) send the semen out through the penis. Not 1 nut then the other, but from both.

Volume is variable and depends on a lot of things.

The main one is the time between ejaculations. If you wait two weeks between orgasms, you're going have a bigger volume than if you had waited two hours. If a man ejaculates every day, he's going to release a smaller average volume than he would if he only ejaculates every third day.

How does arousal fit in? Maybe he'll just automatically be more aroused if he only orgasms occasionally than he would if he got "satisfaction" every day.

Also, I've heard that volume can also increase proportionally to the duration of the period of arousal/intercourse, meaning a longer sex session will yield a more voluminous result than a quickie. My experience sort of bears this out, even though I haven't grabbed for a measuring cup or graduated cylinder. ;)

And, I don't believe that the ejaculate comes from one testicle or the other. As far as I know, the testes only produce sperm, and other mechanisms -- like the prostate and cowper's gland -- produce the actual semen. The amount of sperm in semen is really an insignificant percentage of the actual volume.
