has anyone spent the aweful lot of money on these discs and can comment on the quality. since we all (??? :D ) know about the rotten french discs it would be nice to see some fine quality transfers. but for 35 bucks each they better be criterionlike ;)

I've heard the quality is very good to excellent, but not reference quality. I haven't bought them yet since I was hoping for some extras at that price.
