How do you shave the pubic hair without the razor bumps, or does it take time (I have been trimming the wife's for a month now) to get used to it? Any shaving advice?

I guess you could use what she likes to shave her legs with, or you do that too? :p

I shave my balls and a short distance above and don't get any razor bumps, but I have no idea if shaving a woman would have any different results or difficulties

What do you use? A regular razor and shaving cream? or something else? I have tried before, but always get bumps.

I heard someplace that a couple drops of visene makes those bumps go away, but have never checked, or tried.

I have nothing to add to this thread, except maybe a cheap request for pictures, but I just wanted to post here because I clicked on my profile and noticed that it listed my last post as being under Guys, have any of your Male friends ever seen you with a HARD ON ?, and I kind of freaked out.
So I would rather have my profile reflect that I last posted to the Shaved vagina and razor bumps thread.

When I went to EROTIC LA last year there was booth with a company that sold an electric shaver made specially for this.
I forget the name but youfirst cut the hair short then you used this device to cut the remaining hair so the area is SMOOTH. They said it DID NOT cause hairbumps.
Sorry not to have a name but with this knowledge perhaps one can find the product.

as a female, i would LOVE to know the answer to this one. on adultdvdtalk, i chatted witha porn start. she told me a few tips--shave with shaving cream, never use a dull razor, exfoliate often, use baby powder as a lubricant afterwards and tons of lotion as a moisturizer, and dont wear panties or anything that will cause friction in the area. i have tried all those and unfortunately, no dice. YMMV. for me, i just dont shave as often which drastically cuts down on it.

If you use a match to burn the hair off, I'm reasonably certain you won't get razor bumps.

Been shaving for 16 years, I used to get bumps in the beginning. Not anymore, must be a frequency thing. I shave every other day. Wish I could help you, but the only thing I would think could possibly help is doin it on a regular basis. Everyday or every other day.

You gotta consider the stubble issue.
I mean, sometimes its annoying when I'm feeling a girl's legs up and come across some small stubble (Yes, I know there's a lot of area of cover, but believe me, men really are thankful for the hard work women go through everyday to complete this time-consuming task).
What about Nair? I still heard that when women use it, it made their legs feel really rubbery.

Yes I am shaving her legs too, I find it kind of erotic to shave her legs and pubic area. Plus, if I didn't do it, she is lazy in doing it. I bought one of those Venus shavers and some Noxzema shaving cream for women, still bumps. I can't seem to get a real close shave either, the hair is really coarse. Maybe I need to try more than once a week.

Hell, I'd get razor bumps on my face if I only shaved once a week.

I don't know, I have never used a razor on my face, I have used electric razors my whole life.

I've seen this from playboy magazine's advisory column. My friend ordered this product. She hasn't gotten yet, but I will share with ya if this product works good or not.

Give it a few days when the hair starts to grow back THAT will be the real test. If it works, thenthe hair won't growunder the kins and cause hairbumps.
Also, let me sing the praises of a product called TEND SKIN.
A chick friend turned me on to it and it works great. It can be used on most of the body as far as I know, although I don't know about using it on scrotum sacks. But it is mild either way.
Anyway, I've used it and after a few weeks things do look and feel better.

Try using hair conditioner instead of shave gel/cream. I use a 99 cent bottle of V05 Raspberry conditioner to shave, and everything comes out much smoother.
and raspberries smell good.

Does anyone else out there have experience with the razor Giantrobo and Sildenafil talked about? I have been thinking about getting one but have held off due to the price. Here is a link for those that need to be refreshed.

I don't remember the price but the one I'm talking about seemed good quality wise but I don't remember it being that expensive.
Erotic LA is cumming...oops...coming up soon.
-IF- I go I'll try to get info to post

Well, the best thing is a good waxing. But this can be expensive and you will need to have them done often. The next best thing is the Tend Skin Line of products to shave the area. The shave gel is awsome. It is the smoothest gel I have ever felt. The blade just glides over my skin and there is hardly any irritation. As you know, it is this irritation that causes the bumps. It is also important that you shave correctly. There is an excellent guide on Ebay - facial Mapping - that teaches you how to shave correctly. It is mainly for men and the shave bumps that they get on their faces, but the info is good for anyone who shaves.
and you can get tend skin products anywhere online. Just google it or go to ebay and search tendskin or tend skin. If you still cant the guide or tendskin products, email me at strkyr100@yahoo.com
good luck.

Something to try that I have found that works, is underarm deodorant applied to the area that is shaved.
