I have both the PA and frenum piercings. The frenum is the loose skin on the bottom of the penis right behind the head. The piercing is called by different names in various parts of the country so please don't post that I am an idiot. They are both 8 gauge piercings.

My former gf liked the frenum piercing. She said it gave a very noticable and enjoyable sensasation during sex. She would ask me to remove it during anal sex. The pain factor associated with the piercings is low. You will be sore while they heal and there is some down time. The initial piercing will probably be 14 gauge and then you can stretch. I wouldn't recommend anything larger that 8 gauge due to the weight and the tendency of genital piercings to migrate. With the PA you do lose the ability to stand and pee with much accuracy. It can be done if you can get close to the urinal and use a paper towel as a penis apron. Usually if I do stand I bang it on the urinal when I'm done. Just to give the guy next to me nightmares.

Since I don't have a vagina I have to rely on her comments. She said it allowed her to feel exactly where my penis was. From things I have read and heard, the walls of the vagina are less sensetive than the entrance. A piercing allows the female to experience a sensation in an area that is not usually stimulated. If you decide to get a piercing make sure it is a qualified piercer. There are too many people out there learning to pierce by ordering a video tape (not even a DVD!) and a blank certificate. I don't know how other states operate but in Ohio you can contact the local health department to find out which shops have been inspected most recently and how they scored. Not that a clean shop equates with a qualified shop but it is a good place to start. Just because someone has a lot of piercings does not mean they are a piercer.
