I'll help you all a bit in the correct direction. Leechers and inactive / lazy users were banned from RiP-Productions last week. This went without prior notice as we expect from users to contribute at will, not when your account is in danger.

If you are banned or want to join RiP-Productions, register at the Proving Grounds (www.proving-grounds.net). It's a small sister forum to RiP where users can prove themself worthy in order to get a RiP account.

You can't donate if you are not a member. You can't buy yourself an account either. Donators with the wrong mentality see their donation send back. You donate because you like RiP, not because you don't want to be banned for inactivity.

@Buford T Pusser, it is expected from users to keep RiP's content within RiP. It's a closed forum for a reason.

Does anybody know if there's a problem with rip again? I just got banned a couple days ago for absolutely no reason. I've hardly even made any posts there. First of all I'd like to know why I was banned and I'd like to re-register. The problem is that for the life of me I can't find where to go to register. Maybe. The thing is that I had been a "member" for awhile and never posted but I hadn't even logged in for over a year and my login sill worked. It was only recently that I started posting every now and then. I think I made maybe 10 posts in a week. The problem is that I made a request for something and somebody informed me I needed 50 posts to make a request. I honestly didn't know they had that rule and apologized and then a day or two later I was banned. So I don't know if they banned me because of my year's worth of inactivity or because I made a mistake. I would like to re-register and contribute though but I have no idea how to do it.

Fast as in connection speed? I have Comcast, so whatever they are.

I did the HJ Split with a movie into 100 MB parts, but it was taking 35-40 minutes to upload the first part to RS, so I stopped it.

I was on RiP when I got some error, and then they went into maintenance. My guess is they had a little problem with the database that need some fixing, or its just routine maintenance. It's back on normal again.

I used to be a member of RIP back in the day and I gave up on it with all the problems getting in and whatnot.

The best site I have ever been on was Anothersite.co.uk forum! This site was a damn treasure chest! Everything and anything hard to find was available in the forum. Just type a name in and every scene was there and usually all links worked. Sadly, they must have had major copyright holder issues last June because they deleted all of their archives and now monitor closely so nothing good gets posted.
