Close. She has a plastic thumb. It slides on top of her right thumb. She holds it in her left fist, stuffs the hanky in, and then (you'll notice) always finishes stuffing the last bit in with her right thumb. She jams her right thumb in tightly, then opens her hands. Her right thumb is now a little longer than it should be because of the wadded up silk in the tip. Every time she has to pull the silk out again, you'll notice her right hand goes in first, so she can conceal the fact that inside her bra/panties/whatever, she is slipping the thumb off, pulling the hanky out of it, then jamming it back onto her real thumb. You'll notice that she usually keeps her right hand curled into a fist with her thumb inside it. She also waves her hands around excessively (and yes, creepily) to hide the longer thumb. She's terrible and it comes from a lack of confidence. It amazes me that a woman could be naked, with the audience tens of yards away, and not believe that her body could be enough to distract people from staring at her thumb. Her entire body language is stiff and frightened. I've seen that trick performed "up close" (where it is meant to be performed, with the magician an arm's length away from his/her audience) with a SHINY METAL TEST TUBE instead of a flesh colored rubber prosthetic, and it worked because the patter/body language was so good.

Yeah, <i>that's</i> the point isn't it? It really looks like she was slipping the cloth under her armpit...especially when she was nude. If you notice when she shook her hands she kept her arms tight to her sides. I thik she was slipping the cloth back into her hand from her armpits when she had her back to the audience and when she was taking the cloth out of her bra, panties, and coochie....she was really pulling it from her clenched other hand.


If I were helping her with the act I would have her let her hair down towards the end and take her shoes off.

She did something similar for her longer show Show Off and in another choreographed sequence, Light My Fire. I have to wonder has she ever done her shows in the New York City area, where her work would be much appreciated.
