I'm suprised that hd porn is even available. Isn't it still hard to find 16:9 widescreen porn? Porn producers used to really push technology, and they still do with certain things on the internet, but they still seem to go cheap when it comes to filming and other production. That's why I have downloaded tons of porn on the internet, but I've never once bought a dvd.

I know of 2 that are encoded using WMV-HD and are meant to be played on a PC - don't know if it can be played back on the HD-A1. Here's some info if you want to give it a shot:

So far, the only truly HD DVD porn released in the USA is a disc of trailers by Digital Sin. There are a number of WMV titles,

but no one has stepped up to the plate to drop between $12,000 and $18,000 to master one of their titles as a purely marketing tool (to say they were first). I expect that the first "true" porn title (not a "we can't show pubic hair" release from Japan) will be released very soon now given what a few insiders have told me but it's an expensive gimmick for now.

As far as the anamorphic porn goes in the regular DVD format, that's been around for years and getting quite popular at some companies like Digital Playground and Wicked Pictures. The sad thing is that a lot of it looks worse than it should thanks to an unfamiliarity with the process (learning curve blues). Others look great though so check it out. :)

I unintentionally got Island Fever (part whatever, with Jesse Jane) HD-DVD with the original. I assume they always sell them both together for the same price. I however won't be buying into the next gen format for some time...

Actually. Its not an HD DVD, but an HD disk for your computer *WMV-HD). It won't play in an HD DVD player.
