View Full Version : What constitutes as "Sex"?

I am watching one of those "wildest police videos" shows right now. And they were doing a segment on undercover female cops posting as prostitutes. One of the videos they showed was some guy who wanted a spanking.... that's it. No sex, no genital contact was asked for, just a spanking. As soon as the guy paid, the cops busted in and arrested him. So that leads to my question. How is this illegal? Is it because it was something he was arroused by? I've heard of guys who are arroused by girls sneezing, or who have hiccups. Does that mean, if someone pays someone else to do that, it's illegal too?

I can see how hiccups could be a nice...enhancement.

Yeah, that's weird. I guess it would depend on how the local laws define 'solicitation', but while some people may derive sexual pleasure from some things most people deem non-sexual, I don't think it should be a crime to offer services such as that to someone. If someone's into balloons, is buying a pack of balloons from the Dollar Tree solicitation?
Or they could argue that he was trying to solicit her into committing battery or something....

Of course the question, why weren't they out arresting kidnappers or shoplifters or rapists? I don't think I have any problem with the concept of prostitution; people 'sell their body' every day, though in different ways [a boxer or even a 'day laborer' is much more likely to do permanent damage to his body than a prostitute]; of course, I do have problems with the way the 'business' is currently run, with drugs, violent predatory pimps, 12 year olds getting into it, rampant disease, etc. On a wider note, I wonder how feminists/pro-abortionists feel about prostitution--they should be for it, because isn't the rallying cry "it's my body"?

Anyway, I have no idea.

I hate it when cops set people up. You think they'd be out catching criminals that are actually hurting other people.

I hope the guy contests that bust. In most states, the technical definitions of prostitution require either penetration or ejaculation.

My guess would be his arrest won't hold up and the cops knew that while arresting him. They set up a sting with an undercover cop and are going to arrest everybody who pays. Their only other choices would be to let the female cop get spanked, which they won't do, or tell the guy and let him walk, and possibly tell others about the sting, which they won't do. So, they arrest him and later he goes free, but after they continue their sting.

Outer-edge: Ah, that actually makes sense. I guess it was the intense announcer guy that made the whole scene sound like it was an attempt on the president's life. I really hate how they blow every little thing out of porportion on those shows. "He blazes out of a parking lot, narrowly missing a pedistrian". Ummm, I'm watching it, the guy slowed down, used his turn signal and the pedistrian was ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET!!!.
