Question:
Being rather a small/petite lady I have often wondered this..

why on earth do already beautiful women get their boobs enlarged to a ridiculous and often grotesque size?

I know lots of men prefer large melons, but there are (more that some people know!) men who adore the smaller chest size!

One person comes to mind who has done this is Alektra Blue - EH??? Sunrise Adams also.
I'd rather see natural big boobs like Angel Dark's (they are aren't they?!!).

This may seem like a stupid question but it would be nice to see other people's opinion on the subject - especially if there are any other women on the forum!

Seriously, large fake boobs are not as popular as they used to be. Sure there will always be the fetishes and those that cater to them, but it seems the trend now is that people are appreciating a nice firm and round shape...a stubby cone perhaps. Something that stands on its own. Women in some industries get implants to cater to fetishes or because the industry is outside the norm. Many popular porn stars today forgo the implant in their prime and wait for their careers to falter before using it as a method to stay in the spotlight (see Katsumi). Breast surgeries to lift breasts are increasing in popularity and have been proven by such popular starlets as Sung Hi Li.

It also seems that large implants are, not commonly thought of as breasts, but people know what they are and aren’t afraid to call them: fakes.

Since youth is naturally a large qualification in beauty, and increasingly so with today’s pop culture the way it is… youthful, smaller breasts are increasingly preferred. Large breasts still offer curves and profiles that attract from a distance and cater well to bras and tight clothing, but usually appear misshapen and unnatural in the buff and are often associated with older women.

Obviously I’ve pondered this topic for a while in my life, but have also read a few articles on the subject, study marketing, and just saw “breast” the documentary, which covers this topic. I’m also sucking on one as I type this.

When it comes to boobs 95% of women seem to want what they don't have, it's amazing. I've dated A to F cups and can't say that I have any great preference, there are pros and cons to them all, especially later on in life. F cups sure lose their appeal when the F stands for floor.

Past a certain age porn stars recognise that their bodies are past their best and think that a boob job is the best way to try to reverse the trend. At least they get to call them 'new' breasts and it attracts some attention. Everyone likes to feel like they're improving themselves rather than on a downhill slide.

But for me it reeks of pushing the panic button, and I find it sad. Huge fakes do nothing for me. The only implants that make any sense are going from A to a B or C but even then if they leave scars it's not really worth it.

This will probably sound really trite but the sexiest breasts by far are those that a woman is comfortable and happy with, that she can smile happily about while i'm enjoying them! Confidence is almost everything.

IMO the only time a woman should get a boob job is when there's been surgery and they're needed for reconstruction or when a woman has serious floppies after children. An example of this is Tiffany Mynx after her second (?) child. I mean, they weren't just a little saggy, they were literally loose and mostly empty bags of skin on her chest. She got a very good boob job (IMHO) and now they look as good as any fakes I've ever seen. Floppies are kind of made for implants. They fit in so well. Aside from such instances, I would much *much* rather a woman be totally flat than have implants.

Hi Poodle ... I'm sure they're gorgeous! The other thing you run into on the Internet is a rediculously high standard of "hotness" by a lot of guys. Girls that would be drop dead gorgeous in real life can post a picture online and be ripped apart.

If we're talkin' "the porn industry" I think they cater to Men who want a certain look. I mean how many times have we seen girls who're already cute and natural change into ok looking and freaky after implants? The Tara King ones all look exceptional to me.

The tiny ones you posted - yuck - might as well be boys. Those two don't really seem to have any breasts.

I like breast of all sizes, quality over quantiity ! And in general I am against implants unless they are really required (misshapen breast, severe sag, empty deflated ones, etc)

But large breast draw attention, whether you prefer them or not..it's hard to ignore a couple of bouncing, undulating boobies in a half unbuttoned blouse coming at you ! Or to not get lost staring at a deep set of cleavage ! Even other women can't help checking them out, it's a biological/societal response.

Alot of people may laugh or make fun of a woman with disproportionaly large boobs, but be assured she's getting plenty of other attention with them. And alot of women crave that attention.... they feel breast are a symbol of womanhood and feel inadequate that they don't 'measure up', even if under other circumsatances they would complain about feeling objectified. Alot of women see them as accessories.

I know so many (actually the majority probably) B cup or lower girls who constantly talk about getting boob jobs, even if they have very nice shaped breast that match their body... it really is a shame that they would take the health risk and most likely ruin the asthetics of their bodies to get a few ogling glances at thier chests. There were three really attractive women that used to come to the club that were all A and B cups and wanted boob jobs....one of them told me "I want people to see my boobs come around a corner before I do..." They all got plenty of attention, but felt they didn't have the complete package without bigger boobs.

Of course porn takes it to the extreme....if big is good, bigger must be better !!

On that stripper discussion board, there was a whole forum for breast jobs. I gather that a large number of men like bolt-ons so they're a big increase to a girl's income.

I find myself looking at and enjoying a large firm pair on a woman wearing normal street clothes when she walks by. Since I'll never see any of those women with her clothes off, or be able to touch her breasts, they do their job. They attract positive responses from most men.

If a friend, a co-worker, or someone else I saw frequently got bolt-ons, I'd be less impressed. After a few minutes, the magic would be gone. Then they'd look a bit silly.

And I really don't like the look or the feel of them once a woman's clothes come off.

So the trade off is that boob jobs will make you more attractive to people you don't know. But your friends will get tired of them.

I've dated woman with small breasts that are so sensitive they can have an orgasm with the right touch. Just having large breasts may be fun to admire but natural is always preferable for me.
