These men need serious, professional help. How could a man live like this? To me they seemed one step away from suicide. God help them.

So if I knew one of these guys, and one day he walked in on me fucking his doll...would he throw the cheating whore out, or would he try to have me arrested for rape?

i had only pity for one of the men in the documentary. He was hetero, and had a budding relationship with a real, attractive woman. Then one day they decided to take the relationship to the next level. The guy introduced his live girlfriend to his RealDolls (which numbered 8). Her initial reaction was a mix of shock and humor. Then he told her he owned 8 of them, and that he used them regularly for masturbation, and that he bought them clothing and wigs. She initially said she didn't have a problem with the dolls, but she dumped him a week later. I wonder why.

Thanks, but I already posted that it's not available on Youtube. That's what Google Video searches as all the results are Youtube links.
Anyone else have a link to the show?

Here is a search tip: if it is not under a specific name, use keywords.
It is titled incorrectly, but you obviously didn't even try.
Here is the address: video.google.com/videoplay?docid=3710987618964917848

So you wasted posting TWICE when you could have just posted the video in the first place.

look these guys may be pathetic and sad but hey, they are doing their thing in the privacy of their own home (for the most part) and aren't hurting anyone
Id take 100 of these guys on this earth for every child molester and rapist

Are these men who don't have the social skills to find a real woman and get laid? Or have they gotten laid by a living, breathing woman and just prefer the subservient, silent type?

I've just watched the doc late at night, and now I'm not sure how I can sleep without nightmares. The men were humanized in the doc, especially when they many admitted that they had come to terms with the fact that they'd likely never meet a woman who'd be interested in them. Pathetic, yes, but in a mortally injured dog sense.

I can understand the sex thing. It's the social interaction I have a problem with. If you have to, have sex with the doll but it would be better to have interaction with a pet dog, snake, or even goldfish than to have it with rubber.

watched this documentary the other night.
Very odd, very sad in a way, but then again, I can see why these guys do it.
To each their own.

That one guy had 8 dolls! That's 80 grand right there not counting all the accessories. If you're gonna waste 80 grand you might as well just find some hot chick and pay her bills.

Yeah, at least when other real life girls see them in public with a hot chick it boosts the interest factor, and maybe eventually they might land girls based on that. On the other hand, when a girl finds you with a real doll, it's pretty much game over unless she is seriously fucked in the head herself.

I suppose it's a cross between a fetish and a bizarre humanizing of the dolls that drove him to think he could or should reveal this to a real life woman. I'm of the opinion that if you're into one of the really odd fetishes (stuff like this, or furries for instance) you're probably better off seeking like-minded people on the internet rather than thinking you have any shot of introducing it to an average person. This concept is just too creepy in general, and in some ways I could see it being considered deeply offensive objectification to some women. Having eight of them just magnifies the creep factor.

You could tell the lady wasn't exactly OK with it. She must have pretended like she was since she was on camera. I can't blame her. That guy is not going to find a woman with the same interest in Real Dolls. It's not going to happen. There are male versions too but I'm thinking the market for those would be gay men rather than women.

Was anybody else more than a little freaked out by the guy with all the guns? He's fascinated with weaponry, images of death (judging by the things in his room), and has an objectified view of women (considering he can only relate to a doll). No, no problem there. Or how about the British guy? I was getting a heavy Norman Bates vibe off of him what with the way he has his mother's room kept exactly as it was.
I don't know...I can see having one of those dolls for masturbation purposes, assuming your sex life and social skills are dismal enough to warrant it, and assuming you have $10,000 to burn on a glorified pillow...but naming it? Having conversations with it? Calling it your girlfriend and taking it out on dates? Spending hours cuddling with it in bed? For Christ's sake.

It ain't just guys...
Guys aren't as romantic, though. They'll have sex with their dolls, but will they marry them? Chicks will. At least, if the dolls are as pretty as they are. No one wants to marry a doll uglier than themselves, do they?

I wonder if any of these guys are into necrophelia? You soak the doll in a tub of ice water for a few hours and it's be just like a corpse.
I can't really watch the video, I'm on dialup. I assume it's just a documentary about men and their $10,000 "lifelike" dolls?
Somebody mentioned add-ons, what are the add-ons? Extra wigs or extra pussies?

I just watched this last night.
Honestly, the guy pictured in the original post probably should be gay. He could get a decent guy if he wanted.
The old British guy seemed the most normal. Polite, decent looking and all. I felt the most sorry for him.
The Virginia gun guy was pretty much a lost cause.
The guy with eight... another lost cause I'd say. Sure, he had an actual girlfriend, but she wasn't anything that special... "He saw my nose stud and said 'Oh, you must be open-minded'" What the fuck? If that's how the average guy gets (real/living) girls, then I must be doing something wrong.
My favorite part was the Real Doll Doctor. He admited to nailing people's dolls! That seemed so wrong after seeing how much these guys cared about them. If you ever want to see some great pictures, check out his website Realdolldoctor.com

Sounds like these guys have been so burned by women that they sought out affection from an inanimate object. I don't understand the women though. There is no shortage of willing guys to help them with whatever pleasure they want, why turn to a doll? If a woman is horny, sex is only a wink, holler, phone call or invitation away. The guys though? Just look on any craigslist listing and compare "women seeking men" ads versus "men seeking women" ads. Night and day.

I watched most of this from the google link last night. It stopped around the 46 min mark. It looked like that was the place where the guy with 8 dolls was about to lose his GF.
The main thing I was feeling when watching this was overwhelming pity. I mean, how shitty must these guys lives be, not being able to even remotely relate to a woman, or probably even anyone else? I feel really bad for them.
But that guys who fixes the dolls was just creepy.

Damn. Man I thought this was going to be a lot less ummmm sad. Some of these guys think those things have feelings. Those guys were just sick in the head. Talking to a doll like its an action figure. If any of those guys have any sense they'll go out to a bar a pickup some really women like me and my buddy storm shadow.
