LOS ANGELES - Longtime Vivid National Sales Manager, Howard Levine, has been named the new National Sales Manager for Club Jenna. Levine will represent the production company as well as all of its associated studios, including Filthy Films and Philip Mond/PGP Productions. The industry veteran told AVN that he's extremely excited at the prospect of working with Club Jenna, full time; a sentiment that seems mutual for the company.

"We are very excited to have one hundred percent of Howard's time," said Club Jenna CEO, Jay Grdina. "Over the past couple of years we have had a great working relationship with Howard. We look forward to having him devote all of his time to the company."

"I have had an incredible seventeen years at Vivid," said Levine. "It's the longest stint of anyone in a sales position in this industry, and I'm really grateful to have been at such a great company for that amount of time. I owe everything to [Vivid Entertainment co-founder and co-chairman] Steven Hirsch. He's treated me and my family as his own. Steven is the man when it comes to the adult industry, and the company has been a huge force in adult, from its beginning.

"Vivid is the greatest company in this industry, but I believe that Club Jenna is right up there," added Levine. "We have some really great things coming up, and I look forward to working with Jay and Playboy, as well as all of the Club Jenna lines...and taking the sales to the next level."

Club Jenna is distributed by Pulse.

Well, some say it's a demotion, others say it gives him a better line to work with and whatever the case, I wish Howard well in his new role of making Club Jenna a stronger player in the field. I suppose this kills my chances of him hooking me up with Lanny Barby though... :( (sniff)

Probably not, I'm still waiting for my prize from him from months ago lol. He probably moved on and forgot all about us.

I'm willing to bet he'll be with us soon once he settles in since he has a lot on his plate (he was at Vivid for ~17 years; you don't switch out of a long term job like that overnight). Otherwise, I was left with the impression that some of the people winning his last contest did not provide the needed information to him (contrary to the rules of DVD Talk, some members are underage and no one wants to go to jail over sending them porn) and others may have mixed something up with the email. Email me if this is not the case so I might be of assistance; complaining on the forum won't cut it. ;)

PS: Each of my reviews has a link to my email and it isn't like I lack in the number I've written in recent years...lol

Congrats on the side-motion, Howard! I hope you will continue to grace us with your presence on the forum. Best of luck in the move.

I too wish Howard well at CJ ... I've found them to provide some great titles in the past couple of years, although letting go of someone like Sophia Rossi puzzles me greatly. Some of the recent titles haven't had nearly the same polish.

I hope that he helps the Philip & Gina Mond duo produce more movies.

I guess now he's going to ask for (and probably get) a name change from "howard@vivid" to "howard@clubjenna".

On a similar note, if that job application pans out... I hope the mods grant my request to have my user name changed to "NCMojo@BurgerKingOnMainStreet"... -pray-

NC, sorry but you got your once a year title change (after complaining for it). :p

Kidding aside, I think changing his title would help insure that overly sensitive forum members would know who he works for as one of the approved industry insiders at DVD Talk. I look forward to his return though since he has a lot more experience in porn than the handful of detractors he has had online fussing at him here (put together at that). :)
