I posted a message (with quote) last night which consisted of a single smilie, and it took. Today I try to make a post consisting of a single word (tried to do it with and without quote), and it won't take it. It keeps telling me the message is to short, and to type in at least 10 characters. Well then, why did the single smilie take?

Will someone please look into this?

Well then, why did the single smilie take?I can't say for sure, but maybe it's because the smiley translates to an image tag, and that long string of HTML amounts to more than 10 characters?

Not really, there are only a couple of people that understand the ever changing code here; the rest of us probably figuring it best that the experts answer your question.

I had talked to geoff about this in the begging and he was gonna look in to it as far as lowering the limit.
