Harmony Films Begins Production on Dave West-Directed 'Slam It!'
LOS ANGELES — Harmony director Dave West brings the "Slam It!" series stateside with a week-long schedule of shooting and media appearances.
West, joined on this trip by head of production Gazzman and U.K.-based performer Kiesha Kane, will not only make movies but extend Harmony Films' presence in America through the productions. West, Gazzman and Kane's media itinerary included meeting with AVN and XBiz, as well as Rude Jude on Shade 45 and Sirius Satellite Radio's All Out Show. The media are also scheduled to visit Harmony's sets on select days.
"I'm looking forward to shooting the 'Slam It!' series in the states," West said. "Harmony's shot in some of the most beautiful locations you can find in Europe and in the same way, I'll bring the best locations in Southern California to their audience — with amazing performers from around the world, of course."
Jason Maskell, sales and marketing manager, said the productions in the United States expands the company's brand on a global level.
"We've built an amazing following in the U.K. and in Europe," he said. "However, the American market can't be ignored and it's someplace we want to be. As excellent as our products are, there's nothing like bringing your productions there and having your people put a face on your company in that market."
