In Love? Not the Bradys XXX Wins Big XBiz Trophy
(Hollywood, CA) As more Americans continue to fall in love with the porn movie Not the Bradys XXX, adult industry publication XBiz has rewarded the producers with a trophy honoring the sex comedy for Marketing Campaign of the Year; a significant honor considering the array of blockbuster adult movies released this past year.
“Wow, this is really something,” stated co-producer Scott David of X-Play who along with parent company All Media Play have witnessed a nationwide blitz that has seen numerous prime time national television shows, radio broadcasts and news channels run stories on what has become the most talked about adult movie of the year.
A spoof of the popular Brady Bunch television show of the 1970s, Not the Bradys XXX is the biggest selling movie of the year for X-Play and Hustler with record sales still sizzling nearly four months after the DVD first appeared on store shelves.
“The movie is unbelievable in terms of selling and everybody that sees it really loves it. Strangers in the night have heard about it on Entertainment Tonight or The Insider or on the radio and to win an Xbiz Award for our marketing efforts is truly rewarding and quite fantastic then,” stated director Will Ryder.
As the producing duo was being asked to pose for some press photos backstage, a cute soon-to-be forgotten porn starlet quickly snagged the trophy from the director’s hands and began to rub the long glass tip along her money-maker. “That’s really lovely,” Ryder quipped. “I told you everybody loves this movie.”
Not the Bradys XXX has earned critical praise from a wide variety of reviewers including Xcritic.com which lavished praise upon the movie naming it the #1 movie of 2007. Roger Pipe at Rogreviews.com said in his review “I love this movie,” selecting it for a Rog Pick and Adult DVD Empire.com wrote, “Will Ryder’s Not The Bradys XXX is the best adult spoof of 2007 and a whole lot of fun to watch.”
A recent issue of XBiz Magazine proclaimed, “easily the most hyped movie of the year,” and AVN gave the movie a coveted Editor’s Choice tag with an impressive AAAAA rating.
“We love getting awards but the best reward of all is the fact that we have zero returns for non-sales which is quite remarkable considering the huge volume of DVDs sold,” stated co-producer Jeff Mullen. “To now have awards from AVN, XBiz, NightMoves, XCritic and hopefully more on the way is great.”
