Newest members mostly spammers?

Anyone else notice that many of the newest "members" to the forum have screennames that are either random strings of consonants or things like tryviagra.com?

Obviously spam accounts, but is there any way to prevent this? Seems to be an awful lot of these lately.

And they almost always seem to post in the "Who's That Girl" thread....
