Tina Tyler Directs Mercenary Pictures' Ninth 'Black Moon Risin''
CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Award winning studio Mercenary Pictures presents five beauties fresh to the adult business in the latest addition to its critically acclaimed ethnic new girl series, "Black Moon Risin' 9."
Directed by perennial fan favorite Tina Tyler, "Black Moon Risin' 9" stars Baby Cakes, Taylor Starr, Nina Devon, Coffee Brown and Sheena Rey. The title, on store shelves now, also features Brian Pumper, Jon Jon, CJ Wright and Lexington Steele, award winning performer, director and Mercenary Pictures owner.
"The ladies in 'Black Moon Risin' 9' are beautiful and they loved being in their scenes," Tyler said. "As a former performer, I know how important it is that a director work with the talent, particularly when they're new to the business."
Steele said Tyler is consistently able to shoot excellent scenes of newcomers because of her ability to put them at ease.
"Tina's done a tremendous job in making sure these girls feel safe and comfortable on set," Steele said. "These girls are new to the business — and for a few of them, it's their first time on camera — so making sure their experience isn't intimidating is important to ensure they can turn out a good scene."
