Good job on the review of Ransom, not just for a first review either! You managed to catch the essence of the feature portions as well as the sex stuff just right for my tastes. I only wish that:
1) it had screen captures (I know that will come soon) and;
2) Empire actually sold it (went I searched for it on their website, it sent me to their Gay Empire front page, a more round about search on their straight website pulling it up as "unavailable").

Maybe we should make you the Porn review editor like John is for mainstream...

Seriously though, I look forward to reading your future reviews and wonder if we can get Bishop in here to comment. Oh, and from the review, it sounds a lot like Justin Slayer's MERC that recently came out (though his had a later production date).

Thanks don! I tried to give an honest opinion. I tried to also give my opinion as a women and with my knowledge of selling dvds, use what my percetion of the male's opinion would be.

I like the change of pace of watching something that is not reality porn. Maybe why i am such a Jonni darkko fan .. well and the fact he is just a nice guy. Wait until you see the one he is working on now!

I saw a trailer for MERC which i thought looked pretty interesting.I am really liking the new diverse offering in features. I am hoping for this tread to become a constant.

It was a good review, I didn't particularly care for the feature myself, but you gave enough details and wrote well.

Even though sometimes Don almost goes overboard with the description of sex scenes I prefer that to when some of the reviews are too skimpy.

If you look at some of my early reviews, which were similar to the high end reviews over at ADT before I left them, they were considered "too detailed" by some as well. I hate providing laundry lists of the sex acts but I've tended to write longer reviews as time goes on and people request different information. A number of people skip past the scene descriptions altogether (except to get who did whom) in favor of the opening and closing from what I understand, others just care about condoms, and still others are interested in running times and extras. For me at least, writing more just meant that more people could gleam something personally useful out of them; much like the increasingly explicit pictures I'm allowed to add these days. The good news though, is that you're reading them.
