LFP Video Group to Distribute Sunset Thomas’s Last Movie

(Beverly Hills, CA) After a 3½-year hiatus since VCA’s Misty Beethoven, well-loved adult performer Sunset Thomas, star of HBO’s hit series Cathouse and numerous adult films, has decided to star in her final movie and then officially retire. Sunset approached LFP, stating, “I started my career with Larry Flynt, and I wouldn’t want to end it with anyone else other than Larry Flynt!”

Drew Rosenfeld, Creative Director, Hustler Video Group, said, “At LFP, Sunset is a part of the family, and we were absolutely ecstatic to take on this project. Sunset Thomas has had an amazing career, and anything she does will be a blockbuster.”

LFP signed a one-picture deal with Vavoom Films to distribute Sunset’s farewell film. The DVD distribution deal gives LFP exclusive worldwide distribution rights.

“We are looking at a March release,” says LFP National Sales Manager David Diamond. “I know Sunset’s fans are going to go nuts over this project.”

Gene Ross, of AdultFYI.com, once said, “You can talk about your Jenna Jamesons doing the big crossover, but for the money, pound for pound and press release for press release, it’s Sunset Thomas who’s made the biggest splash on the other side.”
