19 AVN Award Nominations Stuns Not Bewitched XXX Producers

(Hollywood, CA) When the adult movie Not Bewitched XXX recently received 19 AVN award nominations, the producers at X-Play were a bit shocked. Not because they felt that their star-studded hilarious parody of the 1960’s classic television show Bewitched hadn’t earned it, but because 19 nominations is just a tremendously large amount for a single movie.

“This confirms what we have felt all along that this movie is a blockbuster hit no question about it,” stated the movie’s co-producer Jeff Mullen. The DVD has been at the top of numerous national sales charts ever since it was released 10 weeks ago by X-Play/Adam & Eve Pictures including 9 consecutive weeks near the top of the AVN Retail Buzz chart.

Not Bewitched XXX www.bewitchedxxx.com received a wild array of award nominations that include equal parts recognition for the all-star cast and the technical crew.

Superstar Jenna Haze helped cement her breakthrough year with a Best Actress nomination for her role as the suburban house-witch Samantha. “This year has been an incredible year and I’m really glad that I was asked to be in this fun movie,” she said.

Co-star Teagan Presley received three nominations including Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of Tabitha who is transformed from an infant into a sex-obsessed 18-year old. “I knew this was a special movie from the moment I read the first draft of the script,” she offered.

Nina Hartley and James Bartholet are both up for an award in the Best Non Sex Performance category as they delivered perfect characters renditions of Endora the meddling mother and Darren’s boss Larry Tate.

Director Will Ryder (the directing persona of Jeff Mullen) also picked up a Best Director nomination for Not Bewitched XXX as well as a Director of the Year nod. “It’s great when effort and creative dedication get rewarded with critical applause and great sales.I’m really looking forward to going to Las Vegas for the AEE show and the awards in January,” Ryder said as he prepares for a 10 day shoot of Not the Cosby Show XXX.

Darren & Samantha have a big problem when Aunt Clara can’t undo a spell cast on Tabitha that accidentally turns the sweet little toddler into an 18 year old cutie.
