Are you serious? There are way too many men in this world that get blamed in the relationship for problems that had nothing to do with him. There is no reason I should break it off with a guy for my own lack of confidence.

Sbatl8y, let me put it this way.... you say you feel comfortable with him, 'more than any other guy', but yet you still struggle as to what I think is your quest to 'give the perfect blow job'. I didn't read the whole thread through but have you had sex with him yet? And why is it important that you have to give the perfect head job on the first try? You know like everything else, it takes refining, just like girls, most guys prefer things differently. Some like it when you suck really hard, some don't. some like it when you stroke real fast, some don't. There's no way anybody or even yourself can know unless you start doing it. Who's to say that when you finally do give him a head job, he won't blow his load within the first minute, all that time planning would seem to be a waste huh?

I actually agree with what you said here, but the logical follow up to it seems to be "Don't worry so much", not "Break up with the guy."

If you've been hooking up with this guy the whole time here, you need to get over your 'confidence' issue and just do it. You couldn't be more prepared and honestly, I'm surprised that he hasn't gotten bored with your encounters.

I know you're 21...why not have a couple drinks before hand and loosen up. If you're still unsure about technique, watch some porn. But I think that you're over-preparing and the first time you should just stick to the basics. Try the ice and other tricks once you're more comfortable.

Just do it. The sooner you do it, the better off both of you will be.

Maybe the thing that's not understood here is that this guy is very special to me. He is one of my best friends and is also my roommate. We have the most awesome relationship. However, we are not boyfriend/girlfriend. He is going through a lot of changes in his life and I am still pretty young (I am 21, he is 28) and we don't want to screw-up this great friendship we have by dating.

I explained in my first post that I only like to give oral sex to people who are VERY special to me. For some reason I think oral sex is something very intimate that I am only comfortable doing with someone that I know pretty well. I think when I first posted this thread, I wasn't comfortable doing this with him.

I do appreciate all the help that you guys gave me, and you will be happy to know that I finally went through with it last night. And it was awesome. No ice was used (amazingly, we didn't have any) and I didn't stare into his face. He seemed to VERY much enjoy it and even told me it was the best one he's ever had (then again he could just be saying that, but who cares).

This will definitely be a re-occuring event. Thanks again for the help.

One thing that I'm kind of dissapointed in is that I have my tongue pierced and he said he couldn't feel the difference between a pierced tongue and a non-pierced tongue. (I was the first to give him oral with a pierced tongue)

I've heard from many other men that women with their tongue pierced is very enjoyable.

Any women on this forum have their tongue pierced? Do your men seem to enjoy it more? Less? Or can they even tell the difference? Are there any special techniques you use with it?

I'm thinking with the whole ice concept, it will make the tongue piercing very cold, and maybe he will notice it then.

Although I've never had the experience with a pierced toungue, pretty much every one of my friends that has said it felt "the same" or "nothing special".

And good God, keep the ice away from my Johnson!

The pierced tongue can feel very different, but you have to know exactly what you're doing with it.

I've only been with one girl who knew how to use it, and that was only a one time deal, so I don't know exactly what she did, but it seemed like she used a lot of pressure with her tongue, and her tongue was very "active".

Also, it helps if the piercing is up near the tip of the tongue. The ones further back are more for "show" than "go".
