Cyprus in uproar over offshore orgy

Nicosia, Cyprus, Jun. 24 (UPI) -- Police photographs of a cruise ship orgy off the shores of Cyprus in international waters had the island in an uproar Thursday, The Guardian reported.

The photographs, leaked to the privately owned Mega TV channel show as many as 100 passengers on the night cruise nude and taking part in various sex acts, while others are clothed but enjoying the show.

"These scenes are not just graphic, they go beyond every conceivable limit," the island's deputy chief of police, Sotiris Haralambous, said, adding arrests are forthcoming. Because the event took place in international waters, Cypriot authorities will have to request arrest warrants from Interpol.

"They're all quite young, under 30, and from the look of it tourists from Britain and Scandinavia," Haralambous said.

The captain of the unnamed vessel was questioned Wednesday night about the trip, which was billed as a $55 cruise with meal.

They were bothering exactly who now? I’m guessing nobody, until the police showed the pictures. Shouldn’t the police be fined/arrested for spying on the boat and the people on it. So what, the police just happen to take pictures of “events” happing in your bedroom and just happen to show them to your neighbor and if they don’t like what you are doing you are going to be arrested? Sure, if they were having an orgy in one of their front yards then maybe people would have a right to be upset, but I’ll bet that they only witnesses where the police who should have been out stopping murders and not peeping on these fun loving people. I guess the Janet Jackson “Flash” is screwing it up for everyone. If your going to commit a crime, make sure it's stabbing someone and not flashing them.

What is the world coming to? Are we stepping back to the dark ages? I really don't see the problem with an orgy a sea. How much more private can you get? Haven't the Cypriots heard of the freedom of the high seas?
