The "v-shape" - a question for the females of XCritic

A few weeks ago I saw a program on the Discovery Channel about physical attraction. The program went point-by-point on what women look for in men, and - you guessed it - what men look for in women.
Now that I think about it, it was a rather interesting show. Of course a lot of it was theoretical, but it did make a lot of sense. I regret now I didn't pay a little bit more attention to it, because it was rather entertaning.

Anyhow, regarding what women look for in men, they talked mostly about the "V-shape" made up of the width of the back and thickness of the shoulders.
Whereas men look for the coke bottle figure in women, women look for the v-shape in men. This was, IIRC, their main thesis. Additionally, it was stressed the presence of some muscle - not exaggerated, like for instance gross bodybuilders whom most women find disgusting, but athletic builds - the back, shoulders and butt (or glutes if you will.)

My question is to the women of these forums, do you agree on the V-shape part? That the width and depth and size of the back are one of the main draws?

What do you - physically - look for in men, just by instinct, not by thought, but what do you instinctically (sp?) look for?

The V-shape you speak of is a wallet that is so full of money, it cannot close and keeps a V shape. They are attracted to that.

The v-shape (which I just like to call, the 'back') is definitely an attention getter for me. Moreso the upper back having a nice shape to the shoulders, where a t-shirt just rests on it, contouring it perfectly. They dont need to have a super tiny waist, but the image is a nice one indeed.

Other things I instinctively look for are eyes, smile, and height.

That is quite true though lol I been complimented by girls about how big my shoulders, arms and back are. My current girlfriend loves that about me. I guess because it shows strength? But then again im such a P***Y.

I am totally with happycamper here. My favorite part of a man (besides penis!) is the back & shoulders area. So sexy. They definitely don't have to be thin, but wide shoulders are hot. :-)

They also have to be at least 2 inches taller than me.
