Do you guys masturbate before sex?

When you know...or are at least fairly certain that you're going to get laid sometime during the day do you masturbate beforehand?

I've tried masturbating the same day and also waiting a few days beforehand and I find it's much better when I refrain from masturbating before sex. I'm harder and it's more pleasurable. It might not last quite as long, but you can always do it again.

What's the consensus?

Why would you want to masturbate before if you're know you're going to get some later? You won't be as horny, hard, or have as much shooting power when you actually have sex.

The theory is that once you blow it the first time you can go longer the second time around.

However, the trade off is that, like you said, you might not be as turned on or as hard or spurt as much.
