When discussing the creation of Space Blasters, Lowson states, “I've been interested in game development since I was a little kid, and I spent hours playing games like Geometry Wars, Robotron, Gravitron and Space Invaders. So, I decided to mix them all together, add some dubstep music, and release it for free – and Space Blasters was the result.
