Date of Production: 10/16/2003 (box), 5/13/2003 (credits)
Extra's: The best extras were the two extended scenes from the feature itself. While there really wasn't that much additional footage, it's a good path for Vivid to travel and I hope they continue down it in the future. There were also three bonus scenes from other Dasha releases, each of them pretty solid. The next best extra was the 9.5-minute long Behind the Scenes feature (by Victoria Woodhill) for the movie. While it didn't look as good as it could have, I'm of the mind that the picture quality of the sex scenes is the important thing. There was also a couple of photogalleries, a mini-biography for Dasha, some trailers, a position room and a double-sided DVD cover to go with the spam.

Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color, as most porn made these days. The picture was a step back in terms of quality for Vivid since the lighting was weak and that accentuated the grain and video noise problems. The editing didn't help either but the focus of my main complaint has to do with the lack of clarity (the soft focus issues were rare so I won't comprehensively address them either). The audio was presented in 2.0 stereo English but had some problems with the mix (the vocals too low) and the dynamic range was really limited (as was any separation between the channels).
Body of Review: In recent years, Vivid has released a number of feature porno's by director David Stanley. The man is known for adding a Twilight Zonish twist at the end of many of his movies, often seemingly to disguise the other weaknesses of the plot. If you've watched any of his releases lately, you'll know what I refer to when I say the technical aspects were weak in his latest effort, Round She Goes. The movie follows a gal played by the now-retired Dasha who has to decide between two men, a feeble good guy or a loser bad guy, in order to live her life. The story was minimal and the sex not much better but if you enjoy this type of feature, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:
Scene One: Dasha, the cute blonde on the front DVD cover, and Eric had a scene in bed. She masturbated and he went down on her. She soon gave a little bit of oral attention to him but since it was a dream sequence, it wasn't presented very well. The energy level was high but the length too short, once and forever disproving the theory that it's not the size of the wave but the motion in the ocean that counts. Their vaginal encounter wasn't bad but the technical issues interfered with it (like the editing of the story into the sex).
Scene Two: Michelle, a curvy gal with a nice smile, had a very short scene with Dillion in a club. It lasted for about five pumps and he came on her leg. Whoop de do!
Scene Three: Lezley, the brunette with the ability to entice even gay men to come on over for a ride, took charge of Randy on a bed. Her energetic antics and skilled oral technique made for good fun although the extended version of the scene seemed better. She jerked him off with her feet before he got to bone her and I wish it lasted twice as long. It was edited inside of the story and the next scene, which killed the heat.
Scene Four: Cherokee, the sweetheart of the 2004 AEE Show, had a scene with Michelle while Dillion watched them beside their bed. Cherokee looked very good here and the lesbian action was pretty warm with lots of chemistry as they used a big dildo on one another. They spent the balance of their time licking each other silly and I liked it overall.
Scene Five: Dasha, this time in a more aggressive mood, took on real life boyfriend, Dillion, on a bed while Lezley took care of Eric on another bed. I know what the director appeared to be going for but I just didn't like the way it was edited to make it seem as though Eric and Dasha were boning (thankfully, the extended version was better). The sex was straight and oral but lacked the punch I was looking for.
Summary: Since the primary function of a porno is to provide solid sex scenes with decent production values, I could only rate this one as a Skip It, as it was so far off the mark so often. I liked a few scenes enough that I didn't burn my DVD but even the best scenes here were limited in terms of stroke and replay value. Vivid has made much better so you'd do well to look for another release from them instead of dropping dough on this one.
