Unlike my recent review of the classic
compilation Deep Inside Hyapatia Lee, where I
had very specific and intimate memories of its
subject, I have exactly the opposite reaction
to the star of Deep Inside Nikki Dial.
While I certainly know who she is, I can't say
I've ever seen a single thing she's done. So
forgive me ahead of time if I don't share the
same enthusiasm for this release.
Nikki Dial herself hosts this compilation,
which is structured as an interview /
retrospective of her career (interesting
considering that this was a 1993 production
and she worked another 3 years). Thankfully
she also introduces the clips, cutting out a
TON of fruitless research for this reviewer.
The first clip is from Shades of Blue
with Nikki and Jerry Butler. They're making
out in the woods, with Nikki first putting up
a hint of resistence but then giving in. Mike
Horner is sneaking around in the woods
watching all this, by the way, and also seems
to participate in Nikki's head. Ah, the joys
of random plot threads in a compilation.
Anyway, Jerry gets a quick blowjob and then

Scene two is from Nikki's Last Stand
with Rebecca Wild. They make out in bed,

very close to the performers throughout the
scene, sometimes too close to really get a
good sense of what's going on.
Our third scene is from Hard to Stop

be a bit difficult, both since it's edited a
little wonky and the action is all over the

This thing is edited like a Michael Bay movie,
which no act getting more than a snippet or
two of time before cutting to something else.
Just know that what you'd expect from a early
90s porn scene is here. The usual sucking and
fucking, and he cums on their tits in the end.
Back to Shades of Blue for a scene with
Mike Horner. Nikki swims nude, then pleasures
herself while flashing back to something we're
not going to understand without backstory.
Horner shows up, and there's a LOT of talking

Audio/Video:
This was a 1994 production consisting entirely
of clips from different films all made in
1993. So you still get a range of looks and
quality, however all of them look their age
and certainly aren't a showcase for your porn
dungeon's home theater system. The first
scene in particular is overexposed and just
looks horrible.
Extras:
Trailers for Peepers, Ritual and
Still Insatiable. There's a still
gallery that uses some production shots and
isn't all screen grabs. And there's phone sex
ads and a weblink to VCA Pictures.
Concluding Words:
Nikki Dial fans may be more enthralled with
this one than I was. The scenes don't really
scream "Wow, this chick is fucking hot!" but
at the same time by no means is this a bottom
of the barrel flick either. I'm going to say
Rent It. You could certainly do a lot
worse.
