Length: 100 minutes
Date of Production: 7/10/2005 (box); 7/9/2005 to 7/11/2005 (credits)
Extra's: The only decent extra was a short, 4.5 minute long Behind the Scenes feature. It was more of a series of minor bloopers than anything else although it did address the internet rumor reported by Gene Ross and others about Evan Stone getting shot (it was part of the story but you know how irresponsible internet gossip websites can be). There was also a slide show, some trailers, and some spam but the extras in general were pretty weak this time.
Audio/Video Quality: De-Briefed #2 was presented in a non-anamorphic widescreen color was an aspect ratio of 1.85:1 as originally shot by director Mark Kismet for release by Hustler Video. The fleshtones were accurate, the lighting solid, and the grain minimal with only a handful of moments when the shadows were in the way of the fun. The composition of the shots and the editing could've been tightened up a bit but it was reasonably well handled in terms of technical values on the visual aspects of the movie. The 2.0 Dolby Digital stereo English soundtrack was a bit less appealing to me with no separation between the channels, limited dynamic range, and a droning music track that detracted from the heat of the scenes.

Body of Review: Hustler has long been a major force in adult entertainment, to the point where video cassette recorders were sold by the tens of thousands in the late 1970's solely to play porn sold in the back of their magazine (at about $300 a pop too!), driving what became a cultural revolution of sorts. Now they are the porn producer and the DVD format has surpassed the tape medium so feature porn like De-Briefed #2, the sequel to Debriefed 1, can be offered up for your home viewing pleasure. The show is a soap opera comedy much like Arrested Development is in the mainstream world, following a law firm's employee's as they screw around like happy little bunnies. While not the best feature I've seen this week, it had some moments worth looking at and here's a look at the scenes by cast and action for those who care:
Scene One: Nadia Hilton, a bleached blonde with ample breasts, was up first as a gal named "Paris" (figure out the connection folks), who was intently sucking off Manuel Ferrara as he laid back on the yellow couch. She had pretty eyes and an even prettier mouth from my dick's perspective as she inhaled his rod into her warm, wet, willing mouth. This led to a titty fuck and some screwing in her pussy before the load was popped off onto her face. It wasn't a bad scene but it was limited in many ways with minimal chemistry and energy.
Scene Two: Kelly Wells, playing a bitchy gal upset over losing an inheritance, Jamie Huxley, playing a cute brunette stripper, and James Deen, were all up in the following scene where the gals played at some lesbian antics before the meat was offered up for the paying customer. This was another scene that had some potential but this time more of it was realized at the trio went at one another rather heatedly. The gals double teamed his shaft on the stage and then Kelly took the first boning (with Jamie licking his dick clean between positions). I liked the action here and even though Kelly has offered up some really great scenes in the past, this one wasn't bad. Both gals got some penis play and swapped the semen as good professionals should do. There was chemistry, energy, and some minor passion worth noting this time.
Scene Three: Brooke Haven, a curvy cutie with a few extra pounds that looked pretty good on her, was up next as she got out of the outdoor hot tub for the mighty Evan Stone. One thing led to another and the two were soon going at each other with Evan eating her out on the lounge chair. Her blowjob to him was short and uneventful but he tore into that sweet little pussy of hers as though he wanted to rip her in two before they switched to anal. She was a good ride once she warmed up and the camera work enhanced this portion of the movie well enough to give it some extra replay value. It ended with some ATM (ass to mouth) and him jerking off a big load to her face. I thought they had some chemistry and passion together that added up to a good scene.
Scene Four: Jessica Jaymes, the brunette on the front DVD cover, was upset that the episode had ended without her getting any cock. Rather than flying out to Houston as she could have done, she sought out the producer, played by studly Tommy Gunn, to get her due. He went down on her, she reciprocated and the two screwed to loud music that needed some remixing. It was oral and vaginal only with him doing almost all the work (this is her biggest flaw in movies; letting her partners do all the work). He eventually rubbed out a load onto her face but as much as I think she's a major hotty, she needs to get with the program and learn to actively participate in her movies.
Scene Five: Staci Thorn, a bleach blonde with an all natural body, was written into the script at the last minute with greasy Tony Tedeschi living up to his true potential (playing a pizza delivery boy). She sucked his cock in lieu of paying for the pizza, showing some of the energy I wish a few others in the movie would've kicked in, and he went down on her too. She started off very energetic but the positions she was in limited her ability to ride very well so even a skilled little gal like her could only do so much. She was the one who initially jerked him off onto her face at the end in this fairly decent scene.
Summary: De-Briefed #2 replaced Katie Morgan with Kelly Wells and was short on the kind of great sex I was hoping for but it was still worth a rating of Rent It or better for fans of the cast. The visuals of the production were solid most of the time even if the audio track and extras were weaker than average. Jessica Jaymes looked great (as usual) and the limited plot points didn't get in the way here although I'd rather they just dump them in favor of the sex or make them better instead of going half heartedly with the soap opera aspects. I know Mark Kismet is a talented director but too many of the scenes were missing the spark needed to make them winners and the limited replay value of the weaker scenes kept me from liking it as much as I would have liked.
