Audio/Video Quality: Bangin' Brea was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director Laurent Sky for Club Jenna. Each of the five scenes took on a life of it's own with the stylish manner in which they were shot; sometimes substantial portions of grain added in to give a weathered look and other times in the kind of slow motion many fans scream angrily about but the one thing I saw about all of the different styles was how the editing and camera work seemed to be deliberately done a certain way and offering up a mix of textures instead of the generic gonzo flat lighting so many people seem to prefer (there was an extensive amount of use where the screen was captured on a TV monitor that rarely worked too by the way). To me, a little bit of style goes a very long way but I'm not going to suggest that I would want to see a lot of titles shot this way, even if they were designed as such. In general, there was no way to give an overview of the scenes thanks to the multitude of ways the scenes were shot so I'll add in some commentary on points that stuck out at me below in the individual descriptions. The audio was presented in a standard 2.0 Dolby Digital English, most of the vocals excised out in order to cater to the music of Walt Jizzney. Some of the music was creative and original while other pieces gave me a headache so your mileage will vary here too, the bitrate being 192Kbps for those keeping track.
Body of Review: Laurent Sky is one of the most stylish directors working for Club Jenna these days. His vignette driven porn tends to provide two dimensional characterizations for couples wanting inspirational material and while it doesn't always work for me, he can really knock them out of the park for the niche he addresses when he gets them right. His latest release for the company is Bangin' Brea, a showcase for the lovely Brea Bennett. The five scenes provided some fair action that fans of the company will immediately find appealing on the level they usually in the CJ efforts, though it was a bit lighter this time. The cover said it like this: "Brea Bennett bursts the barriers of polite conduct in this lurid adventure conceived by Laurent Sky. Scene after delectable scene peeks inside the unconventional thoughts of Club Jenna's youngest contract star and shivers at the juicy secrets behind her angelic smile. Brea just can't behave herself. She conspires with her pinstriped and provocative cohort Roxy Jezel, schemes her way out of Jerry's jail sentence on her knees, and takes a different brand of penetrating punishment from Barry Scott. Not satisfied yet? Release a little professional tension with Brooke Haven in a forbidden office tryst with Jack Lawence. Grind through a gritty gropefest in an alley with Kelly Tyler and Mario Rossi. Club Jenna and Skyworld dare you to explore these steamy escapades and see who's Bangin' Brea next!"
Scene One: Brea Bennett, the lean cutie featured on the left hand side of the front cover, was up first in a blue metallic bathing suit that hugged her body nicely as she teased and blew Barry Scott. The hummer wasn't over the top or otherwise performed like she was on fire but it did manage to show her talents and physical appeal pretty well. They were in a large warehouse and when the television effect wasn't used, the picture was quite clear. She was passive when the muscular fellow drilled her in doggy but she made a come back when on top to an extent; at least trying to pump on the chump with some hip grinding as her all natural body enjoyed the cock. Her vocals in the vaginal work were performed too obviously but she again looked good enough to stroke a round to, the guy busting a nut of population pudding to her chest (with some minor pop coital sucking as well).
Scene Two: Brooke Haven, aptly playing a stripper willing to show lawyer Jack Lawrence the similarities between the two professions. It was a slightly amusing comparison in the law office set, with Brooke giving far more value for her services as she aggressively fucked and sucked him dry by the end of the scene. The hummer with dirty talk, the active ride on his cock in her cookie (but passive in her ass), and the Middle Eastern flavored music all made it kind of surreal but still a much better scene if you like over the top performances by talented, curvy, ladies. The ending facial was pretty large but even her playing with the semen afterwards could not erase my opinion that she should have been more active at riding him.
Scene Three: Brea Bennett and Roxy Jezel, both wearing their masculine outfits from the front cover (Roxy was on the right hand side for those unfamiliar with her charms), were up next in the obligatory lesbian scene. Brea was the dominant party this time, forcing Roxy to go down on her extensively, with fingers, tongues, and toys all getting a fair share of screen time with the closing kiss between the fetching lasses just as good as their opening volley.
Scene Four: Kelli Tyler, a stripper next door type with some extra flesh on her curvy body, was up next in what looked to be an abandoned attic or industrial setting where she masturbated on one hand and found Mario Rossi lying naked on some crates on the other. She sought to revive him in the only way she knew how, slowly jerking him off before blowing him. The editing of her solo footage into their scene was cumbersome and as much as I liked watching her diddle herself, I would have liked a more linear approach to the action, as it lowered the heat for me. He went down on her for a mere moment to reciprocate but was soon banging her hardcore as she made faces at him in response. Thankfully, the footage of her on top of his cock showed her to be a singularly aggressive cock rider with the ability to pump herself down on him really well. He popped on her cesarean section scar and she gave him some post coital head to close things out for the scene.
Scene Five: Brea Bennett, playing a maximum security inmate in jail, ended up with prison guard Jerry with a dyke looking Deborah Jay watching them. Jerry took her letter and fussed at her over what she was writing her boyfriend about, the official oppression beginning with the blowjob she was forced to give him. Coerced sex works really well for some folks, less so for me, but she did a fair job of slobbing his knob before he went down on her. They screwed vaginally but unless she was on top, the ride was decidedly passive and even her ending oral that launched the final facial was minimal. The gal definitely has potential to be a bigger name thanks to her physical appeal but her skills need polishing up.
Summary: Bangin' Brea by director Laurent Sky for Club Jenna might not have been the best example of his work of late but given the physical appeal of youthful Brea Bennett, it might well suit your purposes in a stroke flick. The amount of extras was low, the strokability and replay similarly less than hoped for, and the amounts of fuck for the buck weaker than expected but Bangin' Brea was not made for hardcore raincoaters or those who watch a lot of porn so much as fans of Brea and Club Jenna so I rated it as a Rent It. Give it a look and you might think more of it but the technical factors and use of special effects did little to help the show provide any lasting pleasure, making it worth a look to knock a couple of quick rounds out if you know what I mean.
