Audio/Video Quality: Gina’s Fresh Breed 4 was presented in the newly improved 1.78:1 ratio anamorphic widescreen color as it was originally shot by directors Gina Lynn & Travis Knight for Gina Lynn Productions. The lighting was decent and the fleshtones were almost always accurate with the amount of video noise minimal. The composition of the shots was such that the ladies were made to look pretty good but with Travis not working the camera much this time, it showed all too frequently. The colors and surroundings were accurate with the lighting plentiful which enhanced the look of the women nicely but it was not the best work to date by the director. There were no compression artifacts (the bitrate was higher the usual, often in the upper 6 Mbps range) or watermarks that I could see, marking this as a step forward for his style to showcase the ladies. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English audio tracks in 384 Kbps were okay and I could plainly hear the vocals of the cast at all times but the music still seemed a bit generic to me; an area that I have long fussed about.
Body of Review: Travis Knight is currently the lead director for Gina Lynn Productions (along with Gina herself) and as his skill grows, so does the appeal of many of his projects at the company. The latest one coming my way was geared to the newcomer market and called Gina’s Fresh Breed 4; picking up on the themes the series addressed back when it was more frequently released. The idea is simple enough; show a variety of ladies new to porn wanting to break in, showing if they have the skills needed to succeed in a business where “sucking seed” is a given. I’ve never been a huge fan of such titles only because newcomers tend to be less sexually skilled (sex is a skill, not something you are born with) but seeing gals that might have enough potential to last in the industry worked for years to keep Ed Powers in business so a hotty like Gina Lynn should be able to milk it until she needs a wheelchair to get around with. That said, here’s a quick look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that Travis and Gina get some play this time though not nearly enough to satisfy this fan, no condoms getting in the way either:
Scene One: Elli Foxx, the gal seen on the lower left hand corner of the cover, was up first as she engaged in carnal activity with Travis Knight on the couch after some tease. The technical values, the amount of replay and strokability, and the skill of half the cast were enough to merit the rating without much thought with the added bonus of Gina giving a very appealing solo scene the icing on the cake. In short, Gina’s Fresh Breed 4 had everything a guy could appreciate in a stroke flick dedicated to new female performers and while there were still some rough edges, the lack of polish made most of the gals look realer than normal but no less desirable.
