Audio/Video Quality: Weapons of Ass Destruction 6 was presented in an anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 widescreen color the movie was shot in by director Jules Jordan for Jules Jordan Video in the MPEG-2 codec used for standard definition releases (including 480i resolution). There was some variation in the lighting that added additional grain but I saw a few other issues as the camera kept an active stance at providing the best angles to showcase the ladies. The editing helped in this endeavor too with a movie as long as this one needing extra care to make sure that there is enough tease but also heated sexual antics, my initial impression being that there was less tease footage than usual which admittedly hurt the rating. The bitrate was on the low side (probably due to the single disc nature of the production) yet there were few compression artifacts, the aliasing minimal and given the sheer amount of quality footage on display, most fans will be quite happy. The bitrate hovered all over the place this time, typically in the 3.2 Mbps range, but varied across the board depending on the scene. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (at 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering that really didn't use any separation in terms of the vocals (there was some potential to do so here too). The dynamic range was also kind of generic, an area that seemed slightly better than previous efforts and an area that Jules could easily improve to make best use of the great many home theaters in the hands of porn fans everywhere.

Body of Review: Jules Jordan and the other directors distributed by his company, Jules Jordan Video, have long had two things going for them; quality of tease and huge amounts of material in what are almost always double disc sets. This combination of high end "fuck for the buck" has been their main selling point compared to the competition, propelling them to success far more often than not. One such title I always liked was Weapons of Ass Destruction 5: Special Edition that I saw two years ago, making me wonder whatever happened to the follow up volume last year, Jules' work schedule putting it off to this year for Weapons of Ass Destruction 6. The first thing I noticed was the lack of a double disc set logo on the front cover, my hopes for as much quality driven footage seemingly dashed up front though the casting of ladies still fairly decent compared to the guys (outside of Lex and Marco, they were a mixed bag of stunt dicks). I had to wonder if the harsh economic times had impacted sales to the point where corner cutting this noticeable was to become standard operating procedure but I still tried to keep an open mind about it even when I figured out the flick came out in September but was just sent to me this week (hint: it is December at this writing). In the past, late screeners were the sign of a company's attempt to put out an inferior product but this being from Jules, I didn't want to believe that at all. The series is all about anal sex and every gal opened her ass to the pillaging action offered by the meat puppets, the quality of those men also disturbing. With those caveats stated, here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
Scene One: Jenny Hendrix, the gal bending over on the center of the front cover, was up first with her ample sample of an ass eating her red hot pants and her fishnet top looking pretty good too. Summary: Weapons of Ass Destruction 6 by director Jules Jordan for Jules Jordan Video was one of those rare titles of his that simply did not measure up to expectations, either of his usual standards of quality or that of the series itself, the single disc approach limiting the quality of the picture as well as the quantity of the material presented. Some of the gals seemed to be going through the motions too, and while I might be a bit harder on this one than most reviewers, it is only out of respect for his better work that I state this was only worth a Rent It from me. Granted, the technical matters were not terrible and the ladies all had their appealing features, but when I think of this series, I think of the flagship status it has had in the past more than this volume where so much corner cutting was done. In short, Weapons of Ass Destruction 6 could not hold a candle to Weapons of Ass Destruction 5 or 95% of Jules' other works, perhaps forcing me to rethink what my expectations going into his future efforts should be, if only because I hold him in such high esteem. Give it a look and let me know what you think but don't think this measures up to past efforts in the series (at least the ones I've seen) or you may be as surprised as I was.
