I know most people are aware of my extensive reviewing of movies over the last ten years or so but I also take on a few toys now and again too. While I'm still developing a personal protocol regarding what to look for and how much emphasis I give various aspects, I can safely say that I have no hidden agenda when it comes to toys (a departure from many that claim the title "toy reviewer"). I try to state my expectations and any built in biases I come to the table with and I'm very open to constructive criticism, acknowledging yet again that like movies, taste in toys is also a majority of one.

Today's toy test comes courtesy of Adam & Eve with Nadine as my assistant. The name of the toy is the "Anal Pleaser
" (also "Kayden Kross' Anal Pleaser"), a translucent purple butt plug made of "graduated balls" in plastic. It measures 4" by 1.5" and has a suction cup on the bottom of it, the rippled look best shown via pictures as I've included from the Adam & Eve website. The toy is advertised as a novelty to minimize legal concerns and is made in China for those of you that are socially conscious. It is extremely durable and only had a hint of smell to it when I opened the package it came in (a clear package with an insert displaying lovely Kayden Kross).
There was nothing suggesting Kayden helped develop the toy or even use it in her personal life but a great many toys are sold that way so I'm not going to bust balls over it. In terms of anal play, this was definitely for beginners, my belief being it was designed primarily for couples as the plug does not stay inserted unless held in by a strap or hand as some of them do. There was no suggestion it was phathalate free though and that is a major problem for all three of my testing staff (and myself), the thought of getting some illness (however remote) being a big turnoff.
In terms of the pleasure derived from the admittedly inexpensive toy, there was some to be had but the flares were not separated enough to allow it to stay put so I just couldn't help but combine that with the other factors to rate it as a SKIP IT
unless you are in the market for an anal plg that doesn't stay putt when inserted. It wasn't a horrible device and it used no batteries but like many low end novelties, it just lacked much of an impact all around so give it a look if you like, just don't expect the pleasure of a vibrator or the full feeling you might get from a toy designed to stay inside you until it is pulled out.
