Audio/Video Quality: Ass Worship 11 was presented in an anamorphically enhanced 1.78:1 widescreen color the movie was shot in by director Jules Jordan for Jules Jordan Video in the MPEG-2 codec used for standard definition releases (in 480 resolution). There was some variation in the lighting that added additional grain but I saw a few other issues as the camera kept an active stance at providing the best angles to showcase the ladies. The editing helped in this endeavor too with a movie as long as this one needing extra care to make sure that there is enough tease but also heated sexual antics, my initial impression being that there was less tease footage than usual which admittedly hurt the rating. The bitrate was on the low side (probably due to the amount of footage stuffed onto the double discs) yet there were few compression artifacts, the aliasing minimal and given the sheer amount of quality footage on display, most fans will be quite happy. The bitrate hovered all over the place this time, higher than usual with most of the movie in the 5.9 Mbps range, but varying across the board depending on the scene. The audio was presented in a 2.0 Dolby Digital English (at 192 Kbps with a 48 kHz sampling rate) offering that really didn't use any separation in terms of the vocals (there was some potential to do so here too). The dynamic range was also kind of generic, an area that seemed slightly better than previous efforts and an area that Jules could easily improve to make best use of the great many home theaters in the hands of porn fans everywhere.

Body of Review: Jules Jordan has long been one of the biggest success stories of the porn industry, his company, Jules Jordan Video, gathering some of the very best the gonzo world has to offer. Jules himself remains at the top of the food chain there (and elsewhere) though thanks in large part to ever popular series such as Ass Worship 11: Special Edition, the sequel to Ass Worship 10 that came out about two years ago. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
Scene One: Kristina Rose, the sexy little brunette seen on the front cover with an impossibly sweet bubble butt (the gal located on the cover just under the word "ass"), was up first as she showed off her spectacular ass on the second story deck on a perfectly cloudless day. With over four hours of top notch footage including enough tease for the most demanding consumer, the fuck for the buck quotient was very high, matching the strokability and replay value to such a degree that a rating of Xcritic Pick seemed appropriate. Fans of slightly softcore features, arty-farty crap by absentee directors, or those wanting a lot of circus act sex might not find it as appealing but this was made for the raincoaters faction out there dedicated to the best asses and anal available, minor issues not impacting the overall value of the double disc set. In short, Ass Worship 11: Special Edition was the kind of gonzo release that takes time, patience, and additional funding few in the business can afford to offer these days, marking yet another reason why so many believe that Jules will remain the reigning kind of the field for as long as he wants to.
