While this directorial offering from one Torgny Wickman (his or her only directorial credit of note) may not have the blockbuster star power of better known smut films of the late seventies, it's still worth a look for genre fans particularly for the presence of pretty young blonde Anita Ericsson and the always lovely Jacqueline Laurent.
The film follows a pair of local 'dudes' named Richard (Charles Canyon) and George (Eric Edwards) who are enjoying their time in Sweden and making ends meet by doing odd jobs around town, many of which seem to lead to some rather compromising positions with the female locales. After a goofy introduction where we meet the core characters (these guys work for Jacqueline Laurent and she's not at all open to the idea of their rampant frolicking) we see them head out to the local mechanic's shop where they hope to pick up a tractor that's been sent in for repair. The foxy blonde mechanic, played by Anne Magle, tells the guys that it's unfortunately not ready, so Richard kills time by slipping it to her in the back of a beat up car that happens t be there. George, suffering from erectile dysfunction, decides he's just going to sit back and enjoy the show though Richard remains optimistic that by letting his pal enjoy his own carnal encounters he'll help him get his mojo back.
The guys head back to the ranch where they work and after a meal and some odd conversations and some well received fishing trips, Richard heads over to the stable where he meets the lovely stable girl, played by the aforementioned sexpot, Anita Ericsson. They find the closest bedroom and once again, George peeks in on them as they get it on, and so does the local cat, who comes perilously close to getting in on the action himself. After some great head the two go at it doggy style, not realizing that yet another one of the farm hands is spying them at the same time.
With Richard fulfilled after popping on Anita's rack, Anita (nude except for sexy black leather riding boots) takes on that same farm hand that obviously got some ideas from his peep session. He fucks her on the same bed, first slipping a candle and then a carrot in her box and then fucking her doggy style. Richard and George head outside where they see some farm animals, which prompts Richard to give George some sound advice in the form of 'we mustn't forget our own inner animals.' He puts this into practice by hitting on a girl named Esther (Darby Lloyd Rains) but it doesn't work out for him so he gives up. They head home and as night falls, Richard hops into bed with the lovely cook, played by Kim Pope. Anita Ericsson comes into the bedroom and we get a really solid three way with some lesbian scene between the two actresses - in fact, after the cum shot and Richard's exit, the girls keep going at it for a few. Later that same night, George leaves the estate to find Esther. It takes him a while but he succeeds and she's pretty happy to see him. He plays some guitar for her but once she puts on some slinky lingerie and busts out the champagne, it's all over. She spreads and masturbates a bit for him and then she gives him head which turns into a good sixty-nine session. Meanwhile, the mechanic from the first scene has the tractor fixed. She brings it by where she finds the horny farm hand and they head inside and strip near a mirror. At any rate, with his boner powers back in full swing, Richard decides to pay Kim Pope a visit in the barn. He spreads her legs on a bale of hay and fucks that pussy good and hard, missionary style. Jacqueline Laurent walks in on them and is not in the least bit happy by what she sees, but evidently it turns her on enough as she heads back inside and lets that farm hand play with her pussy. The stroke happy crowd won't likely appreciate this one as much as the Euro-cult crowd will. While the bulk of the sex is definitely hardcore and at times even pretty steamy, it's not shot with much attention to close up/hardcore action, rather, it's a bit on the artsy side. If you don't mind that, and depending on what you want of the film you could very well be okay with it, you wind up with a moderately amusing time killer with a fun cast, some very impressive cinematography and plenty of seventies camp appeal.

This fullframe transfer, which appears to present the film in its original aspect ratio, looks surprisingly sharp and colorful, if a bit faded, even if it is interlaced. The picture quality, for an old XXX film from 1977, looks surprisingly good. There are some specks here and there (they are most noticeable when they appear around what I think might be a reel change) as well as a moderate amount of grain but this looks to be a film sourced transfer and not a VHS or tape source. The black levels stay strong, the skin tones look natural, and while there are a few scenes that look a bit on the soft side in addition to come mild compression artifacts noticeable in the blacks, overall this is a nice picture. A 'Copyright 2009 VCX' but does appear a quite few times at the bottom of the screen throughout the movie. This is VCX's method of protecting their properties, so it's understandable that it appears, but it's bound to annoy some purists.
The Dolby Digital Mono soundtrack is a little muffled and not of the best quality, but again, it's taken from an older source so the limitations of the era's technology are going to be there when that's the case. Dialogue is pretty easy to understand, however, and the background music comes through reasonably clear. There aren't a lot of sound effects used in the film, mostly just some random moaning and groaning during the action scenes and these are handled just fine, as are the talkier bits of the movie.
Aside from some tacky animated menus, VCX has included three bonus scenes, the first of which is from Sex Wish (6:25) and it's more or less a lot of old inner city NYC footage before showing us a quick clip of Zebedy Colt getting his rape on. The second clip is from Sweet Throat (6:35) and it features a lithe and foxy blonde going down on a lucky repairman. The third clip is from Lorelei (13:46) and it features the MILFtastic Kay Parker in a scene with R. Boll and some other dude for a fairly hot three way that a blonde girl (presumably her character's daughter) watches from the hallway. Last but not least, we've got a clip from Peppers (10:31) featuring Samantha Strong who, with some help from her massive eighties hair, gives some lucky guy a really impressive blowjob before riding him, showing off her lovely breasts, and ending her scene with a facial.
Rounding out the extras are trailers for Pleasure Palace, Stacey's Hot Rod, Sweet Throat and Making It Big, the Legendary Tribute montage of vintage adult movie clips as well as some animated menus, scene selection and a web-link.
The extras are nothing to write home about but the transfer is strong even if it is bugged. The feature itself is worth a look for those into the Euro-hardcore imports popular in the late seventies and for that reason it's got cult appeal, but your average porn buff will probably be put off by the long stretches of plot development that go by with no actual sex. Regardless, this was entertaining enough that its' recommended for Euro-sex fans, and worth a rental for the masses.
