Audio/Video Quality: Entry In The Rear P.O.V. was presented in a visually appealing anamorphic widescreen color using an aspect ratio of 1.78:1 as shot by director Mike Adriano for Digital Sin using the MPEG-2 codec employed by standard definition releases. The scenes were all shot with basic lighting to eliminate any shadows, texture, or hints of color variations. The set up was simple with the basic tease, then a male partner would join in for various forms of oral and vaginal intercourse (occasionally anal too), all in some form of point of view fashion. The grain was minimal as was the video noise, the directors trying to provide a basic porn experience here rather than cultivate favorable press by use of silly special effects. It was far from perfect but this did enhance the replay value for me as it showed more care than usual, fans of well rounded women certain to appreciate it. The bitrate tended to hover around the 4.6 Mbps area most of the time I paid any attention to it but the numbers alone do not tell the whole story in this regard, the basic editing not really doing much with the footage that I could see but then I don't have access to the raw footage to make a definitive statement. On the negative side, the company logo was watermarked on the lower right hand corner of the entire movie and extras, distracting me more than a little bit given the nature of the presentation. The audio was presented in 2.0 Dolby Digital English using the standard 192 Kbps rate using a 48 kHz sampling rate most titles are mastered with, a series of jarring musical pieces making the production bug me at times, at least until the sex started and music stopped.
Body of Review: Mike Adriano has long directed for Digital Sin, his movies very hit or miss with me. I have been told several times by insiders that this is due to the restrictions placed on him by his employers, once he seals an upcoming deal with one of the major gonzo outfits, he would truly shine. Well, the deal has gone through and he will start really showing his talents when his first Evil Angel flick comes out but he has left behind (pun intended) a legacy at DS few of his peers could hold a candle to, his latest work coming my way for review being Entry In The Rear P.O.V.. The special attribute this time was not that the movie included anal sex with each performer as the advertising has long suggested but this being an "all star" cast, I expected more than usual. The back cover described the movie like this: "" Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
Scene One: Jenna Moretti, a brunette with itty bitty titties and a gun tattoo, was up first as she walked around some graffiti filled walls by the pool during the tease footage. The emphasis here and in all the scenes was the amount of booty tease too, the gal giving a short interview on the inside couch before Mike Adriano started rimming her. Her face sitting and dirty talk were welcome here too but like the others, she has done better work elsewhere even recently so as strokable as it was, the replay value was mitigated by the availability of better scenes. Still, Ashli has been showing some serious moves of late and her active anal truly worked well here, the scene ending when he blew his spew on her pussy.
Summary: Entry In The Rear P.O.V. by director Mike Adriano for Digital Sin had numerous highlights worth mentioning and fans of the cast should consider it a "must have" even though none of them were at their best but for a general audience thinking this movie would have a lot of anal in it or that the point of view camera angle would be the only way it was shot, make this a Rent It. In short then, Entry In The Rear P.O.V. had a bevy of beauties worth watching do just about anything, never mind have Olympic level sex with the director, it just was not as consistent as some of his better titles to date but well worth a look just the same.
