Audio/Video Quality: Sharkbait was presented in anamorphic widescreen as shot by director Joanna Angel for Burning Angel Entertainment. Mike Quasar shot the footage while Sonny Malone edited it, Joanna’s touches all throughout the campy production but it was very crisp and clear looking. The aural components of the movie included a song called “Fish Food” by Joanna Angel and the Gigolos, some solid vocals, and ambient noises all balanced to make this a stand out audio effort compared to the crowded field of porn parodies.
Body of Review: Joanna Angel and her company, Burning Angel Entertainment, have been responsible for a lot of movies focusing on what I call fun factor aspects, generally spoofing much of what the rest of the industry releases these days. If you like heavily inked ladies that rarely fit the usual blond “Barbie” look and movies that don’t take themselves too seriously, they are a great starting point as well, the company entering into a new distribution deal with Sharkbait. The movie is a goof on the 60’s beach blanket flicks and horror flicks in general, Joanna herself in the starring role with two full scenes. If you’re looking for a sensible, detailed plot with all the mainstream trimmings, you have definitely come to the wrong place but if you want a breezy little stroke flick to enjoy while making out or just getting yourself off, this might work well for you. With ladies such as Andy San Dimas, Draven Star, Tori Lux, Nikki Hearts, and Arabelle Raphael joining Joanna Angel on screen, you know the ratio of ink to flesh was above average while the mock surprise looks at the shark, reminiscent of SNL’s “Land Shark” skits from before most of the cast were born were indeed hilarious. The back cover described the movie like this: “Joanna Angel and Tori Lux quest for revenge against the Pink Pussies, the most bad ass, dangerous bikini gang in the world! When Joanna and Tori concoct a plan to slip a live shark in the Pink Pussies pool, we'll see who really run this town. Those blood thirsty bikini sluts are tough, but they aren't tough enough to fight a Japanese cock shark! Watch these bitches get fucked and eaten in this hilarious grind house style feature!” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that condoms were used for those still interested:
Scene One: Joanna Angel, the curvy hotty with the delicious looking ass featured on the front cover, was up first doing herself before lifeguard John Strong came in to satisfy her needs even better. Joanna had on a blue and white bikini as she reclined by the pool to rub one out, John interrupting her to warn her about the real threat of the show before they kissed. That led to her spreading her legs to allow him to gobble her gash, Joanna slobbing his turgid knob in a display of throating many of her peers should take note of. She included some hand to gland friction as she inhaled his throbbing boner, John donning a condom to tap her tight pussy hard in a fine little exhibition of doggy before she climbed on top of him to more actively ride his pecker. The vaginal penetration positions led to anal, John boning her like he owned her, Joanna relatively passive as an anal receiver though her facial expressions made it clear she liked he hammering her perfect pucker. She provided good eye contact and some fun dirty talk too, John jerking out his genetic juice to her face as Joanna sucked down as much of the baby batter as possible to clean up.
Scene Two: Joanna Angel was then up with Tori Lux (the cutie on the lower left corner of the front cover in a black and white bikini) in a lesbian scene by the pool on a lawn chair. Joanna caught Tori plotting revenge for her sister so they hit it off which included both of them eating each other out slowly, their slick slits and ripe rumps rimmed with a little fingering to boot. Both ladies sported minimal pubic hair and decent eye contact, the face sitting and other oral not marred by any men dripping with population pudding to get in the way of their chemistry filled tryst.
Scene Three: Nikki Hearts, the skinny “Pink Pussy” gang member seen on the lower right corner of the front cover, was up next with completely dressed metrosexual Wolf Hudson, her pink and white bikini offering scant resistance to his love of tiny tits. He sucked her pierced nipples and kissed her, the gal dropping down on her knees to suck him off in a hand assisted hummer. She gingerly worked him over orally before he ate her bald beaver, her verbal words of encouragement making him go faster as he dined at the Y. She propped up on the table so he could vaginally drill her from there, his latex covered pecker most actively ridden when she was on top of him though it was not a particularly active ride most of the time. Her ass then stood out as she bent over for him, perhaps not as prominently as the previous two ladies but nice enough that I took notice, a few more positions leading to him plastering her chest with spunk, Nikki standing up to kiss him before they took a final swim in the pool.
Scene Four: Andy San Dimas, Draven Star, and Tommy Pistol, were up next in the living room playing a parlor game using money. As expected, he was as over the top as he was earlier in the dance sequence, his effeminate character trying to become a member of the gang despite his gender. The game led to his suction skills being utilized in a more basic manner, Andy spreading her legs for him to start off with her juicy pussy. Draven enjoyed his efforts too, the ladies taking turns with his mouth and each other before they actively shared his pecker orally and then vaginally. The ladies devoured him playfully, spending ample time on his balls orally and using their hands before he banged their pussies. This eventually led to the ladies kneeling beside each other to accept his deposit of splooge, the ball batter cumswapped before the scene faded out.
Scene Five: Arabelle Raphael, Michael Vegas, and Danny Wylde were up last as she freaked out about her dead friends in the pool. The guys comforted her in the living room, the brunette lass featured on the upper right corner of the cover for those unfamiliar with her. As Arabelle confessed her shortcomings as a friend, the men slowly massaged her back and chest, kissing her in turns while all three of them were getting in the mood. She rubbed them through their shorts and they soon surrounded her for the alternating blowjobs, the big titty gal using her hands at times but also showing a willingness to throat them to the bone, her pronounced triangle of pubic hair guiding them to pound and taste her as she sucked the other. This continued under her watchful eye contact until they glazed her face with their spooge, her enthusiasm towards the semen not bad at all.
Summary: Sharkbait by director Joanna Angel for Burning Angel Entertainment is one of those hard to classify fuck flicks including a lot of goofiness, some smoking hot pieces of ass, and enough fuck for the buck to merit a rating of Recommended from me. The technical aspects were well handled by guys like Mike Quasar and Sonny Malone, Joanna leaving her mark on the script and general direction in many ways herself. Sexually, there was something for most everyone, the opening solo scene by Joanna phasing into a full fledged fuck with John Strong to the obligatory lesbian scene to a couple of threesomes (one with two women and the other with two men) with just enough silly shark antics to keep the audience laughing. Joanna Angel and the Gigolos provided the tribute song “Fish Food” that sounded like it came from a 60’s beach blanket movie and overall, it was a lot of fun so check it out.
