Audio/Video Quality: American Nannies was presented in anamorphic widescreen as directed by B. Skow for Girlfriends Films. Skow operated the primary camera with Mike Towers handling the second, Sonny Malone credited as the editor on the production to polish up their work. There were some shadows but nothing like Skow’s more artistic endeavors, the flesh tones largely accurate and the household settings plain enough that they didn’t detract from the cast. While there were compression artifacts observed on the big screen television as I watched the flick, the picture was only slightly washed out on the computer monitor when I obtained my screen captures, the lack of a company watermark likely a plus for many of you that continually tell me you hate them. Aurally speaking, there was some minor clips of music during the credits but otherwise, the 2.0 Dolby Digital English presentation was basic, the vignettes much more easily heard than Skow’s latest release (Audition 1) in terms of vocals though it was still a very basic sonic experience overall.
Body of Review: B. Skow is a porn director most have likely heard of, his works for Vivid keeping them on the map for years before he ventured over to Girlfriends Films to expand his scope of social commentary. While some of his movies have fared far, far better than others, his creative mind has certainly come up with a number of titles worth watching, the latest coming in for review called American Nannies. The show was a set of four vignettes focusing on young newcomers portraying live in nannies having sex with their male employer. Given that all the nannies I’ve ever seen in real life were beastly looking and often from cultures where they barely spoke English, I’d be lying if I said this was ever a fantasy of mine (other than maybe visions of Juliet Mills in the late 1960’s) but Skow makes it work courtesy of deploying New Starlet of the Year/Best Actress Carter Cruise, adorable cover gal Dakota Skye, curvy rebel Daisy Haze, and alluring Alexis Adams paired up with popular males like Mick Blue and Toni Ribas. The back cover described the movie like this: “For all the scrapes they bandage, the big cocks they suck, the lunches they make, the cucumbers they shove up their asses, the lessons they teach, the pussies and assholes they let us fuck, the noses they wipe, the cum that they swallow, the diapers they change, the stories they read, the titties they let us squeeze and suck on, the tears they wipe away and the pure delight they bring to fathers around the globe, our American Nannies are invaluable parts of our families. What would we do without them?” Here’s a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:
Scene One: Daisy Haze, a cute brunette with a nice rack, was up first lounging around and chatting on the phone on her terribly messy bed before hooking up with parent Steve Holmes. Summary: American Nannies by director B. Skow for Girlfriends Films had a fetching cast of fairly new talent any man could get behind, the vignettes a bit stale but the sex easily good enough to earn a rating of Recommended. Carter Cruise continues to soar, Daisy Haze and Alexis Adams are earning their way up the porn pantheon, and Dakota Skye still manages to impress even as she prepares to limit her work while going to school. In short, American Nannies was a set of four scenes with some replay value and strokability, Skow proving his strength in the vignette field yet again as he plans to dominate this coming year (hopefully) with award wins instead of just being nominated so check this one out.
