Cast: Abella Danger, Brooklyn Chase, Karmen Karma, Steven St. Croix, Ryan McLane, Tommy Gunn, and Tyler Nixon
DVD Extras: Extras included extended (non-sex) previews of older DreamZone parody films like Hairy Twatter and Rambone (which at least have a sense of humor), plus a photo gallery and some trailers of other DreamZone parody films.
Video and audio: Video was shot in anamorphic widescreen with a 16/9 ratio; audio was in Dolby Digital 2.0. Video and audio are fine, if unremarkable.
Scene one: Abella Danger and Steven St. Croix
Sleeping with Danger is billed as a “parody” of the 1991 Julia Roberts film Sleeping with the Enemy (which I remember getting caught trying to sneak into when I was 12). Roberts plays a woman who fakes her own death to escape her controlling husband. I put parody in quotes because it’s not very humorous or satirical, but updates the plot with more fucking.
The first scene opens with Abella Danger playing the wife and Steven St. Croix being the controlling husband. They exchange gifts and it slowly leads into sex. He whispers to her how he wants her to suck his cock. Abella is the sexpot brunette looks incredibly beautiful in her red dress and he’s effective as the rich asshole. They fuck reverse, doggy-style, and missionary. He’s obviously dominant here and she begs for permission to cum. I liked watching her rub her pussy while getting fucked reverse. The issue I had was that this is such a joyless fuck it was difficult to be aroused by it once St. Croix established his role as the controlling asshole.
Scene two: Brooklyn Chase and Ryan McLane
After Steven St. Croix’s character slaps Abella Danger’s for a minor transgression, he’s back in his office talking about how obedient his wife is to Ryan McLane. When he leaves, Ryan is joined by buxom brunette babe Brooklyn Chase. They start making out and he eats her pussy like there is no tomorrow. The cunnilingus lasts for about five minutes, so I was glad to see as much attention paid to the woman’s pleasure after the abusive husband character made the film impossible to enjoy for the first 30 minutes. After getting her pussy licked, she gets on her knees and removes his cock from his slacks to show off her oral skills. She then bounces on his cock in reverse. They move into missionary (with her on top) and she gets her pussy pounded that way. She’s animated and loud. The scene wraps up with Brooklyn on her back on the desk, getting a big cumshot on her tits. I always appreciate the chance to watch Brooklyn Chase fuck, but this scene felt too short.
Scene three: Abella Danger and Tommy Gunn
Abella Danger is back for this scene and now she’s in the kitchen of her lover, Tommy Gunn. She looks luscious in her black and white dress. She says she promised that she’d leave the abusive husband when the opportunity arose. She faked her suicide and now she’s with him. After getting him caught up with the details of her faked death, she gets on her knees to take his tool in her mouth and reward him for his patience orally. He gets her on the counter to lick her pussy for a few minutes. While she’s propped up on the counter, she gets fucked first on her side and then from behind, with one leg on the ground and one on the counter. She gets a cumshot across her ass.
Scene four: Karmen Karma and Tyler Nixon
Karmen Karma is a stacked, brunette babe whose body is adorned with tattoos. She’s wearing a white tanktop over a black bra, and red shorts. She’s gorgeous. She’s paired with Tyler Nixon who looks like a bit like Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High. They start to make out in her bedroom and he undresses her for the reason of going down on her. She then gets on her knees to use her cocksucking skills on him. He fucks her from behind and then missionary on her back. She’s pretty loud, but possibly artificially loud. It is okay, and it might be my favorite scene of the movie because it was the only one not to have Steven St. Croix’s character hanging over it.
There were a few things I liked about the movie (particularly the female stars are all gorgeous and I like seeing them on-screen), but there were many, many more things I didn’t like. I think remaking a thriller like Sleeping with the Enemy is a poor idea for porn because it makes sexual arousal such a low priority. That there was also a depiction of domestic violence made it impossible for me, even with the revenge comeuppance. The climactic final scene was campy. I’m pretty sure I’ve praised nearly everyone involved in the film in other projects, but this is one I just can’t get behind. I just couldn’t find anything I could support to say this movie was worth your time. I’m sorry, but skip this one.
