Audio/Video Quality: Like most gonzo productions, it varied a lot. I
think one of the cameras used was top of the line and the other a lower end
home model. You can easily tell which footage was taken with which camera.
The audio had similar distractions but again, the problems didn't really
interfere with the fun.

Body of Review: New Girls In Town is Jonathan's venture into gonzo
porn for Wicked Pictures. For those who are new to porn, Wicked is known for
plotted porn, high end production values, and contract women you'd kill for
rather than this type of show. In essence, it's an attempt by Wicked to
expand their market and it actually succeeds on a few levels. The women were
relatively new to porn (although I'd bet the house that all of them had sex
for money at least once before this was filmed) and gave performances that
were at least as good as any they have given since, if not better. As a
bonus, the front dvd cover shows each of the women so you know what you're
buying beforehand. The format here is to show the women, get an interview of
sorts, and then proceed to the sex. Here's a quick breakdown of the scenes
by cast:
Scene One: Zana, a blonde, took on Jonathan. As director, he gets to
bone anyone he wants and get paid-what a life! The sex includes anal and
ATM. Like the other scenes here, she seems into the action and it shows.
Scene Two: Scotti pleasures both Pat and Tyce while Alexa films the
action. I really wanted Alexa to join in but the action was still fun. More
anal antics along with oral and straight.
Scene Three: Zana took on Lee and Pat. She said this was her first DP
scene but she seemed too comfortable with the action for me to believe that.
Otherwise, she gave a good performance and looked to be having fun.
Scene Four: Rumika and Lee boned. This wasn't the hottest scene of
the movie but it was still pretty good.
Scene Five: Aurora, a gal with girl next door looks, took on Bobby
and Pat. Alexa teases a bit but didn't participate. The scene itself was
probably my favorite as there was some chemistry present.
Scene Six: Rumika, Pat and Bruno got busy. The sex included anal and
a DP before the shot to her face/mouth. I thought the subtitles used in her
interview on the dvd a nice touch-I wish Marc Dorsel learns to use them. ;)
Good scene though.
Summary: None of the women are drop dead gorgeous and too many have
implants but none of them are ugly either. That alone puts this one head and
shoulders above most gonzo dvds where the more extreme the sex, the uglier
the women. The sex is, especially for Wicked, quite nasty and the only
complainers will be folks who are either so jaded that they will soon need
snuff films to get off or the ones who think Vivid is too hardcore. I guess I would've liked to see Alexa participate more too.
