Audio/Video Quality: The lighting varied from scene to scene in an
attempt to capture some of the mood a fantasy based set of short films
needs. The video quality and dvd mastering were solid as was the audio.
Perhaps not SWO's very best work but well above average.
Body of Review: Naughty Bedtime Stories is a very well done
collection of six sex scenes hosted by the lovely Jessica Drake. Sadly, she
doesn't participate in the scenes as she was under contract to another
company at the time. Perhaps in the future she will be in the scenes too (at
least we can hope!). The scenes all revolve around magic-almost a given when
considering the past releases by Simon and Bud. I read Jack's review and thought it was worth getting-he was right. Here's a quick breakdown of
the scenes by title and cast:

Scene One: Excaliber: Violet, looking pretty good, took care of Evan
in this first scene. She's no Jessica Drake but that's life. In any case,
George had a slight non-sex role where he played Merlin here (and looked
more like Friar Tuck) which didn't really fit in very well for me. I like
old Fozzie but such roles are better suited for feature films. The scene was
perhaps the weakest in terms of chemistry but I'd watch it again.
Scene Two: Guardian Angel: Allysin played a guardian angel to Randy
in a scene where she let him know he croaked a year ago but the paperwork
was lost. As in most porn movies, he works out a deal to have sex one last
time and she looked very good here-I'd say she looked better than any other
porno I'd seen her in to this point. Unlike some critics, I have no problem
with recognizing that some women look better with time rather than worn out.
The sex was fun to watch and looked like she had a good time as well.
Scene Three: That Witch Is A Bitch: In kind of a weird scene, Ava and
Holly go at each other. They didn't use toys and I would have liked it
fleshed out a bit more but the two looked to be having fun.
Scene Four: A Set Of Balls: Fans of Aurora's will note that she
continues to look better with every SWO movie. In this one, she has sex with
Mark (I won't reveal the plot twist) which included anal. The sex was very
Scene Five: Three Wishes: Tabitha played a ditzy woman who, upon
getting three wishes, wasted two of them. The third was sex related, of
course, and included the use of Mickey's talents. Tabitha is looking less
worn than usual here too which is probably due to her taking some time off
recently. In any case, the sex was warm and fun to watch.
Scene Six: What An Old Battle Axe: Nikita, a major hotty, took on
Chris here. There was humor and fun along with hot sex. Fans of anal will
get some of that here too. I'd say that this was the hottest scene in terms
of sexual energy.
Summary: Once again Simon Wolf combines a variety of elements to
entertain us on several levels. The women had fun and it showed. The women and sex were always at least good,
the technical aspects well done, and the special effects were better than
many much higher budgeted "B" movies. That the extras were so good certainly
didn't hurt my initial impression that it would be a keeper for my
collection either. On the negative side, I'd have very much preferred to see
Jessica in a scene or two, some of the stories had a lot of potential for
full length features which were cut short, and a couple of scenes seemed way
Note to Simon Wolf: I like the interviews with Bud but try and get
him to spend a couple of minutes talking about the actual movie if possible.
I know it's meant as comic relief but unless you're going to add a full
length director's commentary on future projects (which would be a good
idea), using his time more appropriately on his interview would be
appreciated. Otherwise, this is yet another well done movie by your
company-I'm hoping for a bad one soon so that I will be able to compare and
contrast the differences. Thanks!
