Audio/Video Quality: The picture was very clear with few problems. The audio was nearly as good.
Body of Review: Friends & Lovers is a plot-lite story about a couple of young women, played by Tyler and Shyla, who want to live in a better neighborhood. They scam their way into a rental home that is way too expensive for their meager budgets by enlisting a number of their girlfriends to move in with them. Their landlord, played by Randy, spends most of the movie trying to catch them in an homage to the old TV series, Three's Company. While not the best movie I've seen from JKP, it was fun to watch, condoms and all. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:
Scene One: Tyler, a cute blond, took on Eric. The action, like most of it in the movie, was oral and vaginal only but still pretty fun to watch.

Scene Two: DoLorian, a cutie who wasn't in the dvd credits, had sex with Chris. It included oral, straight and a facial. I like her more every time I see her and hopefully she'll be more aggressive in obtaining roles in the future.
Scene Three: Jessica, another cutie who recently got out of a contract at another company, had sex with Cheyne in a hot tub. It was warmer than the water and included oral and straight with a facial.
Scene Four: Jenna, a tiny little gal, Star, a former contract performer for JKP, and Jesse, had a three way lesbian scene in the kitchen. It was fun to watch and included oral and toys.
Scene Five: Tyler and Shyla took care of Randy in this last scene. He proved that he still had the right stuff and they proved they should be awarded contracts of their own. Again, the action was couples oriented with oral and straight with a bit of lesbian licking only but still worth a rental.
Summary: If you are into couples sex with decent production values, this one may appeal to you. I had fun and I'm a jaded old porn hound from way back. The ladies were attractive and the sex fun to watch so it's difficult to be too hard on JKP's decision to include mostly extras from other movies. I'm recommending this as a rental although fans of some of these women may want to look for a sale and buy it. With a bit more attention to detail, and better extras, it would've looked very much like a typical VCA dvd release.
