Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. The lighting was off a lot here and the picture suffered as a result. There was also some color bleeding and compression artifacts too often. The audio was presented with a choice of either English, French or Spanish 2.0 Dolby Digital but I didn't notice any channel separation and there was no 5.1 track as advertised. The sound was often too hollow or otherwise not up to Wicked Pictures high standards.

Body of Review: Wicked Pictures has made some great porn over the years, usually with their feature films and comedies. Once upon a time, before they were the leader of the pack, they made a number of hit or miss titles. Such is the case with the newly re-released Hillbilly Honeys. The minimal story concerns a military man, Peter North, who is ordered to get a lease signed by a couple of feuding hillbillies in order to mine uranium. This gives Jonathan Morgan and a couple of others the opportunity to give us some belly laughs but most of the acting was really weak. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:
Scene One: Stacey, a gal who's been out of porn for several years now, and Peter, had a scene on a bed. Oral and straight only but nothing special.
Scene Two: Cinderella, a tiny little gal, and Steve had a scene in a chair. Oral and straight but little chemistry or heat.
Scene Three: Alexandra, a bit tamer than she has been the last few years, Alex and Mitchell, had a scene together on a bed. The oral was the best part although her ass zits weren't really heat producing. Fair at best.
Scene Four: Serenity, a major hotty then and now, and Cinderella, had a scene on the porch. Lesbian action is fine in my book but Cinderella was a turnoff for me. At least I got to see Serenity.
Scene Five: Tatiana, a moderately attractive gal with black hair, took Peter orally, vaginally, and anally, before he popped on her leg. She was the most skilled performer here and this was the best scene by far.
Summary: I'm always interested in seeing some of Serenity movies from her earlier days, especially since she's not making many movies now, but this was just weak. The picture, the action, and the sound combined with minimal extras make this one a prime candidate for the second tier pricing Wicked started awhile back. At the premium rate this one is priced at, I give this one a Skip It.
