Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. Aside from a bit of grain, and occasional lighting issues, it looked very crisp and clear for this type of production. Maybe Ed Powers can get a few lessons from them. I didn't see any artifacts or color bleeding either. The audio was presented in stereo English and while the vocals were sometimes too low, they were generally clear as well.
Body of Review: With all the porn production companies on the market these days, even jaded old porn hounds like me find themselves discovering new material to watch. In this case, I got to see a new release from the folks at Cherry Boxxx Pictures, Wet Between The Thighs. The show was set up like a Pro-Am shoot where a gal newer to porn would have sex with an established guy in front of a static camera. The simplicity of such shoots is that they should have decent picture quality and the newer gals appeal to a lot of consumers out there. That said, here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast:

Scene One: Serena, a 19 year old lean little brunette with an irritating laugh, and Trevor, had a scene on the bed. I think she looked better here than in Trained Teens 3 but the action was better in the Jules Jordan movie. In any case, the two had the usual oral and straight sex before he blew his load on her face. Overall, it wasn't anything exceptional but fans of new gals will appreciate her here.
Scene Two: Brittney, the 23 year old gal featured on the front DVD cover with the beautiful eyes, and Barrett, had their scene on a plush leather love seat. She was more vocal in her scene than Serena but that's probably due to her being so much more experienced in porn. The sex was energetic and warm with Barrett getting a bit out of hand at times (trying to choke her) before popping on her face. Warm.
Scene Three: Kylie, an 18 year old with a cute face and squeaky voice, did Tony on the infamous love seat. Aside from a large blemish on her thigh, perhaps from getting too wet in an earlier scene, she looked cute with just enough baby fat to convince me she wasn't twenty years old yet. I thought the couple did a really good job in showing some heat here.
Scene Four: Charmaine, a 23 year old Asian gal with a tiny body, and bruiser John, had a scene on the bed. She's also an experienced porn performer, having made a lot of movies, and it shows. That could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on how fresh you like them. She maintained eye contact with him and seemed to enjoy what was going on (at least a bit) but the scene just didn't work for me.
Scene Five: Cherry, a gal who claimed to be 18 years old (cough) in her 26th scene, and Tyce, had a scene on the love seat. While I thought she needed to drop a couple of pounds here (she looked better in a couple other movies I've seen lately), the sex was energetic with old Mr. Viagra. He finished by popping in her mouth and the scene was warm.
Scene Six: Domino, a 20 year old brunette Latino gal, and Tyce, had a scene on the love seat. This scene didn't work for me either. While the two had some passion at times, my overall impression was that they were typically going through the motions. Like the other scenes, it had oral and straight sex.
Summary: I thought this was a pretty good release! I admit that my expectations weren't high going into watching this one mostly due to the generic looking box cover but there was certainly a lot of fuck for the buck here. While not all the scenes were great, a few were and the others seemed pretty good on average too. This being the case, I'm rating this one as Recommended since it combined a level of freshness, good production values and a solid cast of professionals.
