Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the current industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. Some of the club scenes were a bit dark, which made some grain appear, but otherwise the picture looked very clear. I didn't see any compression artifacts throughout the show and the fleshtones were mostly accurate. The audio was presented in stereo English with minimal separation between the channels. The biggest problem with the sound was how the levels varied depending on what the location was and the placement of the camera.

Body of Review: Some of the better porn movies come from small companies. This is true because the level of personal touches such companies can give tends to override the corporate atmosphere of churning out product the larger companies are known for. Granted, small companies make some lousy porn too but when they do, it's usually not because they failed to try harder. One such company, known far and wide for their personal touches to the movies they make is Fallen Angel. The company is primarily driven by director/producer/writer Luc Wylder and his main squeeze, Alexandra Silk (who often co-produces and takes stills as well as helps with whatever else needs doing). Their latest release, Dirty Dancers: The Movie, is patterned a bit after their long running series that has an emphasis on strippers and strip tease before the sex takes place. The plot was disposable and the acting fairly average but the sex was fun to watch and the gals seemed to have a lot of fun. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting that condoms were used:
Scene One: Yasmine, a curvy stripper with red hair, and her real life boyfriend Vincent, started off with her giving him a lap dance. It didn't take too long before she started blowing him and then riding him on a bed. He popped off on her ass and she broke out laughing, obviously enjoying the exhibitionist nature of the show. I think her DSL's (dick sucking lips) were most impressive and complimented her oral skills quite a bit.
Scene Two: Next up was Alexandra, playing herself and Steve, as a strip club manager. The two go busy in his backroom office and she jerked him off with her feet before they took it to the next level. It wasn't long before they went from oral, to straight, to anal sex. He popped on her ass cheek too. The scene was warm.
Scene Three: While Alexandra took the stage, Ruby took Chris and Nevaeh took Talon, both for rides of their lives. Ruby even did anal but the other couple stuck to the basics and all four of them had a good time. I believe the guys got what is termed a "happy ending" by the gals. Not too bad.
Scene Four: Ava, a cute blonde that has been very popular over the years, and Kurt, the illustrated man, had a scene on a set made to look like a strip club. The two did a lot of oral and straight sex with her throaty moaning very nice to listen to. There was some warmth to the scene but at times the scene seemed to drag a little bit.
Scene Five: Katie, the little cute blonde with the squeaky voice on the DVD cover, and Alexandra, had a scene on a couch together. Most of the sex was oral only but they did use a vibrator too. I think she got off during the scene (I would have if not for the second scene).
Scene Six: Katie, now ready for some meat, took on the muscular Evan on a bed. This was the best scene of the show with the two of them getting along great. The sex was oral and straight but there was plenty of chemistry and warmth to spare as she seemed to get off at least twice. Yum!
Summary: I've liked a number of Fallen Angel productions and this one is no different. Luc seems to have a lot of fun in presenting a show where the cast is all involved with the good time. The difference between this kind of attitude and the clock watchers you'll find making movies elsewhere is night and day in terms of replay value and how much you'll enjoy it. That said, I'm going to rate this one as Recommended for all it is and aspires to be. Clocking in at over two full hours, with a well made behind the scenes feature being the primary extra on top of that, you get a lot of fuck for the buck here so check it out.
