Audio/Video Quality: The picture was presented in the industry standard 1.33:1 ratio full frame color. The colors were purposely deep and the lighting off in order to accomplish an artistic effect. By using colored gels and mood lighting, the director probably thought more people would like the look of the show. That may be the case except that a lot of us would rather actually see the sex taking place clearly and not have to guess which hole a penis was penetrating at any given time. The lowered light also caused a lot of grain and video noise, which lowered the heat for me. The audio was a presented in the usual stereo English and while it didn't have a lot of separation, it was often okay. The biggest problem here was how the droning music was used too often and too loudly.

Body of Review: Adam & Eve are one of the biggest producers of adult material, be in porn or toys, in the country. They focus mainly on couples and people who are new to porn, figuring themselves as a gateway product producer. One of their most common styles of porn these days seems to be vignettes; that's where the scenes are unrelated to one another and very little acting or plot is used to further the sex. Lately, they've been using the services of veteran porn director Toni English (formerly of Vivid) in order to expand their product lines and the latest release by the famed director is Extreme Behavior One: Aurora Snow. By the title and cover, you'd think Aurora was in every scene and that it was a compilation DVD. If that's what you're looking to buy, you'll be glad you read this review since she is only in one scene. The six scenes (seven if you count the bonus scene) all revolved around specific fantasies of one kind or another and used artistic lighting and sound to produce an effect that apparently someone, somewhere, seems to enjoy. The makers of this one decided to leave off any means by which to identify the cast (I know all the men and most of the women) so feel free to email Adam & Eve for this oversight if it's important to you. Here's a breakdown of the scenes by cast, noting my comments above:
Scene One: Head Over Heels: Nicole started off the show in a room full of shoes. Seeing as how so many women spend more money on shoes than I do on porn (which is not a small feat), I can understand how this could be a major fantasy for some of them. Her real-life husband comes into the picture and starts licking her feet and toes and then the two give each other some oral loving. This of course changes into their screwing on camera in a long, slow ride in several positions and he ends it by rubbing a load out onto her lovely face.
Scene Two: Seven Veils: In this one, Dru wore some veils and pranced around for Randy before inhaling his penis deep inside her throat. She then climbed atop him and rode for a while and finally let him take her in missionary position. He finished the scene by jerking a load onto her face, which was covered by a veil.
Scene Three: Japanese Dreams: Aurora, Mia and Jade had a little scene that started off with the two little Asian gals giving our cover girl a sponge bath while they were dressed in traditional Japanese outfits. The lesbian antics got hot and heavy and they then turned Aurora over to Marcus and Billy. The scene was the most diverse in terms of cast and sexual activity so fans might want to check it out for this scene alone.
Scene Four: Here Kitty, Kitty: Evan, the muscular stud from Texas (whom you'll never confuse with me), played a milkman who feeds three gals some milk in saucers. They were dressed up in cat outfits with heavy make up on with Jessica (Evan's real life wife) the only one I knew by sight. I think Michelle and Angela were the other two but the important thing was how hot the sex was. In short, it was cute with the gals acting like cats and pawing over their muscular hero, with a bit of humor thrown in for kicks (he wore coke bottle thick glasses and acted goofy). It had oral, lots of oral, and some vaginal sex.
Scene Five: Smoke Gets In Your Eyes: This scene had a brunette, Daisy, smoking a cigar while butler Mickey looked on. She puffed away until she decided to smoke his bologna pony and the fun was on. The scene then edited in on an alternating basis scenes of him going down on her as she went down on him. It ended with him jerking a load onto her leg and acting like a human ashtray. No intercourse took place though.
Scene Six: I Love A Man In Uniform: Aria played a police office in an interrogation room with Monique as her suspect. The two women played out a little fantasy that included some light bondage and spanking with a belt as well as some oral. It was a hot scene.
Bonus Scene: Weekend Getaway: Jewel and Jade had a lesbian scene in a pool then hot tub. The scene was shot in widescreen 1.85:1 ratio and looked very clear for a night scene. The sexual activity centered on licking one another but toys were also used heavily. It wasn't a bad scene but it felt kind of short to me.
Summary: I didn't like the lighting and sound of most of the scenes so you'll need to adjust the rating according to your own preferences. The sex was often pretty good, certainly good for Adam & Eve, only marred by the effects. The cast was attractive and the extras not bad for a low budget release, making this one worth a rating of Rent It. It wasn't bad and some of you will probably like it a lot, just keep in mind the limitations of the direction here. If it hadn't advertised Aurora on the front (and back) DVD cover so heavily, I might have rated it higher but it seemed designed to mislead and that's simply wrong.
